"Hey, Delta. Come check this out," my friend and roommate, Andrea, requested on the other side of the room. She was drawing on the new tablet she just bought.
On the screen was a stage with bright, colorful lights. A drum set was on the left side of the stage, and a piano on the right. It was really pretty, honestly.
"This is so cool! I wish I could draw," I stated. She laughed and shook her head.
"I have no talent. See, look at all these mistakes..." Andrea started listing things that kind of went wrong. Regardless, it still looks good to me. I couldn't even see the mistakes she was talking about.
"Whatever, man."
"I wish I could dance," Andrea replied with a groan. I laughed.
"No, no hun, you don't. So much pain," I said.
"But so much beauty!" She yelled.
I made that 'eh I could see that' face in agreement.
"What are you listening to?" I asked, noticing she had one headphone in.
"Twenty-One Pilots. Ever heard of 'em?" I shrugged.
"Here and there. I've never heard their music, but I've heard of the band."
Andrea nodded, gesturing her hand toward the vacant headphone as if to ask if I want to listen.
"No, no. I'm gonna go get dinner. Taco Bell okay? I don't feel like driving all the way to town."
"Yeah," she stopped to giggle, "Taco Bell is fine."
I gave her a thumbs up and left the room, then hearing her singing some weird song. I looked back at the bedroom door, then turned around, grabbed my coat, and left the apartment to get our food.
