The entire family was invited to a ball, but the two girls rejected their sister and left to the ball. The left- behind stepsister cried, and cried. An older woman appears in the night and tells her to believe. She does, and she realizes she is beautiful the way she is. She uses her sister's stuff and leaves in an elegant dress. She meets the prince, and falls in love. At the stroke of midnight, she leaves but her shoe falls off. The prince searches the entire kingdom twice for his true love, but other girls get in the way. When it is the two sisters turn, they realize their feet are too big. One cuts off their toes while the other cuts off their heel. They screech in pain, and Cinderella hears. She goes downstairs, and the prince asks to see if the shoe fits. It does, and they get married. They do live happily ever after, as they should.
