A/N yO guys, so anyways, I started this book when I was full of ideas, and cringy asf so like yee
I grabbed my ukulele, and went out the door.
"You ready?" Mom asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be" I said, weakly smiling.
----
We pulled up to this house, a pretty modern house. It was a baby blue color, with house plants. Lots of house plants.
"Okay, the boys name is Tyler-"
"W-Wait, I thought it was a girl" I said.
"Oh don't worry, he's with his parents" Mom said.
"He lives with his parents? How old is this guy?" I exclaimed.
"He's eighteen, his parents are home. He just gives lessons" Mom said.
"Oh" I said, calming down.
I slowly get out out of the car, and walk up to the porch. I knock on the door, and a woman opens it up.
"Hello, you must be Mae, come in" The woman said.
"I'm Mrs. Joseph, but you can call me Kelly,"
"Tyler's in the basement, but would you like anything to eat or drink?" Kelly asked.
"No thank you," I said, trying to sound polite.
"Well, I'll show you to the basement" Kelly said.
She lead me through a hallway, down to a door, with a staircase going down.
"He's just down there, have fun" Kelly said, leaving.
Oh great. I'm going to be murdered. I slowly walk down the stairs. I see a picture of Kelly, what looks like to be a Dad, and a boy, who might be Tyler. Their all smiling, they look like such a happy family, my eyes fix on Tyler. He had chestnut hair, and was wearing a white shirt and black skinny jeans, with red vans.
He seems cool, I thought.
"Looking for something?" A voice behind me said.
I jumped, and turned around.
"S-Sorry, I was looking at your family photo" I said.
"Not that, I mean why are you in our house?" The boy said.
That must be Tyler, I thought.
"Ukulele lessons" I said.
"Oh, this way then" Tyler said.
"You want to tell me why you were looking at our family photo?" Tyler asked.
"Is it a yes or no question?"
"It's a tell me question"
"Oh, I just happened to see it, that's all"
"Okay"
There were two chairs, and a drum set that said, Twenty Øne Piløts?
"You can sit right there" Tyler said, pointing to the left chair.
I nodded, and went to sit down. Tyler sat down in the right chair, which was facing me.
"My name is Tyler, if you didn't know, what's yours?" Tyler asked.
"Mae, but it's not spelt M-A-Y, it's spelt M-A-E" I said, everyone always spelt it wrong.
"I like it, it's rare" Tyler said.
He got up from his seat, and went to were a stack of notebooks were. He took one, and returned to his seat. He pulled out a pencil from his pocket, and wrote my name down on the notebook.
"This is for what I tell you to play, and write some of your own music" Tyler said.
"Thank you" I replied.
"This one has simple songs, what some would call 'basics'" Tyler said.
Tyler opened up the book.
"Let's get started"
Hey, bitches.
What did you think?
