Chapter 1

On a noisy street in the middle of Manhattan, I walk through the crowded sidewalk as the people yell and walk hastily, this street isn't half as noisy as the screeching in my head. The screeching eventually stopped, but only to be replaced with his extremely deep voice.

"How ya doin' Vic!" the voice said. God, I hate him.

"Well, besides you, I'm doing just great Andy!" The people around me gave me wary looks as I realized I appear to be talking to myself. I take out Motorola Razr V3, yes I still use a Razr even though it's January 2016. We're all going to have to deal with it, I'm a struggling 18-year-old musician. There's not a lot of income for me right now and I'm barely making ends meet.. Anywho, I take out my extremely outdated telephone and pretend to talk to someone.

"OHH VICTOR!" Oh great, he's still here.

"What could you possibly want from me now Andy." I utter into the phone with annoyed undertones.

"Is that sass Viccy? I guess you don't want to know what happened in the past two years!" He said sassily.

"No. I just want you out. Forever." He is soooooooo annoying! God!

"No you don't Viccy, and besides, I'll be here forever. For as long as I live."

"But if I die, so will you! Ha!" I love loopholes.

"Oh, I will still be alive. You don't know me, Vic," He said rather calmly. Too calmly.

"Andy, You're not making any sense, You're just the voice in my head," Then, silence. He's never quiet, His deep voice is either whispering random nothings or screaming like a banshee.

     "No, I'm not."

     "What?"

"I'm just as real as you are, Kid. And I'm always around you, Deary," I could practically feel him smirking, "Goodbye Victor." He's never said goodbye before, is he gone for good? Just as, my thought finished, I hear a deafening boom and feel heat just behind me. I whip my body around and brush my long hair out of my face, only to be greeted to the sight of a parked car in flames. It must have exploded just after I passed it. Debris is everywhere. The car had exploded into a million pieces, leaving the street in utter chaos. As the terrified people screamed and called authorities, I attempted to run home, but another parked car would explode a few seconds after I would pass it. I eventually got to my top sprinting speed when a car just in front of me exploded into a fiery hailstorm of debris, I couldn't stop now, I was going too fast. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A car door flew at my head. That was the last thing I remember before my world turned black.
