To write a script you need to have a plan. For instance a plan like this.

It does not have to be a really high quality plan

It does not have to be a really high quality plan. This is all you need.

Step 1: Make a list of ideas for your script or screenplay.

Step 2: Choose One.

Step 3: Find a plan like a picture above.

(In the following steps I will refer to the plan above.)

Step 4: Decide who your characters are going to be. Make a list of characters.

Step 5: Come up with the character traits. For instance: (Jack: King of Navar.)

Step 6: Come up with the beginning of the story. This is the part of the story that leads into your problem which we will get to.

Step 7: Come up with the middle of the story. This is where most of the important events happen. The beginning will lead into the middle of your story.

Step 8: Come up with the ending. This is my favorite part of writing a script.

Once you have done all of that you have finished the basic plot of the story from the beginning of the story to the end. Remember your layout does not need to be super detailed. What you will do is write the script but refer to the layout. Then you can add things, add detail, and so much more.
