A girl with silver hair and gentle blue-green eyes wakes from a deep slumber.
I woke feeling dizzy, my vision blurred and dark; I slowly sat up on a magenta chaise longue and placed my hand gently on the side of my head, it felt like I had been struck by a blunt object. My vision shook back into reality, the room was cold and empty holding nothing but old fashioned furniture; the room was dim the only light I could see were two purple dim lamps placed firmly on the walls. I looked down to see I was wearing a long sink dress, it was a gentle shade of periwinkle, the sleeves were transparent and we're light as a feather. I had no memory of the room or how I got here, where am I and how did I get here? I kept wondering to myself.
I panicked thinking I wasn't alone, 'h...hello?' I spoke quiet not trying to make too much noise, yet the room carried my wheezy voice; my heart raced as I waited for a sign of life, the hairs on my neck stood as I heard a single voice whisper in my ear 'Luna' the voice was male but it was very gentle and affectionate. My eyes widened, how did the voice know my name? Do they know me? I thought; I placed my closed hand against my heart and stammered
'who... who's there?' my eyes were circling the room cautiously I felt the presence of a person behind me, I turned to see gleaming deep red eyes locked on mine; there stood a man with handsome dark hair and sneaky yet attractive smirk he wore a tall silk top hat with a pansy purple trimming.
He was tall and wore a dark fitted suit with a single blue lily pinned to his jacket, he stood bending over the chaise longue his face three inches from mine. I froze my lips slightly parted and eyes wide staring deep into his; he brushed a rogue strand of my hair behind my ear, 'It really is my Luna' he said softly smiling; his eyes analysing my profile. I finally pulled the courage to speak 'Who are you?' I asked, my heart was racing, he looked bewildered 'Luna... it's me...' I felt hopeless and even more puzzled, he knows me yet I have never seen him before. My expression made his eyes light up 'You don't remember' he looked petrified, I was frightened by his reaction and nodded as I had no memory of him; he looked around the room with a agitated look in his eye, he lean't in again only inches from my face and placed his palms over my shaking hand 'Luna, you're going to have to trust me you're not safe here.' still confused to what was happening I stayed sat staring in bewilderment. He ran around the chaise longue and grabbed my arm hurrying me away to the other side of the room.
As he walked me down a long corridor I noticed the crimson walls were different heights making the ceiling curl and twist I started to pant as I saw small coffee tables and lamps upside-down attached to the ceiling; I felt queasy. His grip was strong pulling me along like a suitcase, 'where are you taking me?' I asked; he didn't reply guiding me round all sorts of bends that led to more corridors that were constructively impossible each wall more vibrant than the last, until we came to the last corridor with black and white checked walls; the ceiling lowered as we walked further to the point we had to crouch as we finally came to a gold door engraved in it were the words A Wondrous Land written in curly letters.
