She just stood there, speechless...As I released my grip and let her hands fall. I could do nothing but wait for her response, was It too sudden? Was it not up to her standards? Nothing to do but worry that any second past that moment could break this bond we created. Was there a bond there in the first place? Or did I just make it up to mask the fact that I'm scared....scared of being alone. Then, out of nowhere a tear began to travel down her blood red cheeks and all I could do was stare. Looking into her newly glistening eyes it was as if I had changed a life, changed her life...I was wrong.
What was I wrong about? I was wrong to think that someone like me, someone who has nothing in their life together could change the life of a sweet, innocent, girl that who, unfortunately, caught the love in my eyes and decided to go on that second date. Suddenly I too felt a tear begin to rush down my face, but quickly I jerked it, a sign of weakness in front of someone this held together, how foolish could I be...I blinked, and out of nowhere we were back in the car on our way to the diner, where i had thought the kiss took place. ~ My biggest insecurity
