*Your POV*
"Mommy! Don't make me go! I won't know anybody!! Please!" I yelled at my mother as she was walking me up to my kindergarten doors. I tried to run away, but she held my hands and didn't let go until we reached the classroom.

Once we entered the classroom, I saw a lot of kids, and a lot of adults. The kids were sitting in a circle, and all the adults were standing to the side of the children. I looked up to my mom, who was looking for the teacher. Once she found her, she started walking towards her. I tried to pull away again, but mom wouldn't let go.

"Hi! You must be Mrs. Smith! I'm Diane (A/N: if this is your name, change it) This is my daughter (Y/N) (L/N)." My mom said politely to the teacher.

Then Mrs. Smith bent down to my eye level and smiled and said "Hi (Y/N). I'm going to be your teacher. Do you want to go sit over with the other kids?" I looked over to the kids, then to mom who gave me a nod, then back to Mrs. Smith, and I slowly nodded. I hugged my mom tight, and she did the same. When we released, mom smiled at me and pointed to the big group of kids

"Go find a new best friend. I'll be here at the end of the day to come get you" She said with an encouraging smile. I said goodbye and walked towards the group of kids.

I was nervous, so I decided to sit behind the kids in a corner. Nobody paid attention to me, which I was kinda glad for, because I am shy. I watched all the kids talking, and making friends, then I looked up to the parents who were starting to leave. I put my gaze to my lap and I didn't want to make eye contact with anybody.

After about 2 minutes of sitting alone, Mrs. Smith started the class. She didn't say anything about me being alone, which I was grateful for, but I still listened to what she was saying. She basically told us the rules of the classroom, and where the different things were. She told everyone to find a partner, and I didn't move. Then I saw a boy with black hair look at me. Then he walked over to me

"Hi. I'm Mark, want to be my partner?" He asked. I looked at the teacher to see that she was already looking at us. She gave me a nod, so I turned back to Mark and nodded slowly. I didn't say anything, but he didn't seem to mind

"What's your name?"

Spoke to soon

"M-My name is (Y/N)" I said quietly. I don't even know if he heard me

"(Y/N). That's a nice name. So are you shy?" Me said with a small smile. I nodded in response. Then he grabbed my hand which scared me at first, then i tensed and I let him bring me to a table that nobody was sitting at. We sat in the small plastic chairs and I didn't say anything. Mark started the conversation

"So (Y/N), what's your favorite color?"

"I really like (F/C)"

"Really? That's my favorite color too!!"

"Wow. That's awesome!" I say a little louder, because I am getting less shy around Mark.

We talked for a long time, until Mark finally made me feel comfortable enough to go with all the other kids. We all sat in a circle and introduced ourselves. I listened to all of the kids while they talked. Then it got to me. Everyone was staring at me. My eyes widened and I looked over to Mark. He gave me a small smile and nod as if telling me to say something

"U-Um...I-I'm (Y/N)" I said quietly while looking down at my fingers

"Hi. I'm Mark" Mark said confidently after I finished. I smiled a little at his comfortableness (If that's not a word, it is now XD) and he smiled back. I listened to all the kids introduce themselves. I remember a few kids names. There was Bob, Wade, Tyler, Katherine, Amy, Molly, Mandy and then a whole bunch of other kids. I don't plan on really talking to them ever, but they seemed the nicest out of everyone.
