Oh lord It's August I have to go to middle school Thursday. I went to orientation a week ago the day my never ending nerd fest ended. I stare at my blinding phone alarm wishing it would reverse time. When me and my best friend Marionette were in 6th grade elementary she went to Parker Middle while I have go to Sea view intermediate. I try my hardest not to show my nerves but at the same time I didn't care. My legs sag in the cold morning one by one taking me to my future in Sea beach. I finished dressing. I stare into my mirror reflection I am no longer a little kid my hair was shorter compared to kindergarten, my shirt read Food critic and I put on a red flannel. My gaze was still on the mirror everything was going to change there was nothing I could do to stop it. I grab my phone. My backpack full with my gym clothes. I take three breaths then I go blank my actions are going to alter my future. My book is constantly being noted with my thoughts. During the ride over I stare out the window. West shores were so different when I was young. The drought took a lot of life out of my home. I doze out for a second when I come back the car is already parked outside. I shutter at the fact that this is it teen hood. I step out of the car, take another breath and walk into Sea view.
