"Nothing's working out anymore. We have to stop hurting each other.. I'm sorry."
The night when she decided to let it all go.. I felt both empty and guilty... All I can do was to let her go because I know that she's not happy with me anymore and I can't blame her. I know the blame's on me and I don't have the right to stop her from breaking up with me.
It has been a year but I still want her. And her only. I was stupid. And the only thing I want most is to turn back time when everything's complicated yet beautiful.
-
"Carlo!"
Her voice, as sweet as ever. I smile immediately and I turn to look at her. Before I can even speak, she jump right at me and give me a tight hug.
"Rielle, we hadn't seen each other for a week and you missed me so much already?" I teasingly asked her. She pouted and I laughed at her. "Why? You don't miss me too?" she asks.
"I missed you too, you know," I grinned.

Those moments were beautiful. Even if for others, our relationship was full of arguements, coldness and bitterness.. For her, our relationship was a beautiful disaster. It's the kind of thing that makes your head go round and make your heart beat faster than how it beats when you're in a roller coaster ride. It's scary yet exciting.
Together, we ventured and we saw how crazy, foolish, stupid and wonderful life can be.
But now it's all a memory.
"Aw, this is cute. I love bubbles!" Rielle said excitingly when she saw a bottle of bubbles when we're at the mall. It's almost as if her eyes were shining. I laughed. She love funny and childish things but that's what make her more adorable.
"I'll buy it for you," I told her. She looked at me and her eyes were really shining and as if it's twinkling. "Really?" she smiled.
But then, her smile faded. "Ah, never mind. You'll just waste your money on a stupid thing like this," she smiled and started walking away.
Oh, Rielle. I secretly bought the toy she wanted and I gave it to her when we reached her porch steps. "What? I told you it's okay not to buy it, it's only a waste," she told me but I know she felt happy.
"I'll buy whatever makes you happy. So just thank me and don't complain about it," I told her, laughing slightly. She glared at me jokingly as if she's mad then a smile formed on her lips. "Thank you!"
-
I sighed as I look at her from the other side of the open garden. We used to hang out at that spot whenever we have nothing else to do. We sleep, we talk and most of the time, we sing our hearts out. Sometimes, our friends will come and talk about fun.
And now, she's also doing all that. She sleep, talk and sing at that exact spot.. but with a different guy.
Damn.
Wish we could turn back time but a time travel does not exist. Wishing on a star isn't enough, but I admit that it's worth to try. All I can do was to wish, pray and look at her from a far. She's happy with another guy now and I feel dumb.
Why do I only realise that I really love her when I already lost her?
-
"I told you not to come, didn't I?!" I yelled at Rielle.
