My breath was rigid. It felt hard to accomplish thinking about the same thing, getting to the podium and saying what was on the now faintly sweaty card. I stood up as the echoed claps rang through the arena. I began to stagger over to the podium as professor Doyle patted me on the shoulder and mouthing ,"it'll be alright." I balanced myself expecting this nicely carved piece of wood to catch me if I end up passing out. The microphone whistled and screeched in response to me breathing and sweating in front of probably a million people. It took forever ,meaning about 3 seconds, to gather the courage to finally speak. "Welcome graduates, friends, family, and colleagues. It is my distinct pleasure and true honor to have the opportunity to address you today." I take a sip of water as a baby whines. Not knowing of the trouble and. Noise it produces. I almost felt sorry for it. A gullible version of us, not know what to do, not knowing how to live life; yet it still ends up as one of us. But that wasn't what I was supposed to be focusing on. I regain conscious and continue my speech. "When I was first notified about the Space Program Award and that I'd  be delivering  the keynote address at Fall Commencement I was a bit overwhelmed..." As I spoke, I became more comfortable communicating with the crowd. Finally at the end of it all, I bowed as the audience applauded. I gazed into their eyes and frowned A bit. Knowing that nobody would show up to see me. I knew that only one being would be here to see me; Equuleus. Equuleus is the only one there for me. She's always ready for an adventure, unless she needs to charge. Because, if you hadn't guessed already, she's a uni-borg, cy-corn, pega-corn-borg, whatever you want to call it.
