Page 1: Our Story Begins

Dahyun's POV

I was having the most beautiful dream ever but then it was all gone when my alarm clock rings very loud and it woke me up real fast. I stretched my arm to shut it off but when I look at it my eyes went wide.

"Ottoke! I'm late again!" I panicked.

I hurriedly went to take a bath and it took me 30 minutes to finish because that's how I bath. After I finished taking a bath I quickly went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, well of course its just me myself and I so I just made a toast and drink milk. After that I hurriedly went to work.

"Ah, for sure Manager-nim will be very angry once I get there". I pouted.

Soon I arrived at my work place, I immediately went to the back door. When I sneakily entered there's a somehow familiar posture that stood in front of me, I looked up only to see Manager Lee with a poker face.

"Good morning Manager Lee" I grinned

"You're late again" He replied.

"Dang, he must be very mad right now". I thought

"So what's today's excuse?" He said

"I overslept" I replied shortly.

"This is the 20th time you said that excuse Dahyun". He said

"I really did overslept Manager Lee". I replied

I made a puppy face to him because I know that he has no chance against my powerful puppy eyes.

"There you go again with that face". He said

"I promise to never do it again Manager". I said still with puppy eyes

"Arasseo Arasseo, go to work now". He said

"Does this mean you're not angry to me?" I said

"I'm still a litle angry, but I don't want to be high tempered right now, just don't do it again please". He said and then left.

"Yes!" I shouted not too loud, when I didn't saw his back anymore I made a thumbs up for myself earning another win because I didn't got lectured today.

Usually when an employee here is late or either he or she had done something wrong, Manager Lee lectures them but not in a harsh way.

I went to do my work, I give the orders to the customers and clean their tables once they leave. Sadly this is my life, I go to work early and ends at night that's why I have no time in my personal hobbies anymore but that's okay at least I earned some cash to pay my bill in the apartment.

Lucky for my two best friends, Haneul and Jisoo they don't have shifts today so they can wander in any places right now. Those lucky brats,tsk tsk.

Time passed by quickly and it was already evening, I checked the time in my watch.

"Its already 7 pm". I said and without notice Manager Lee pops out in my back when I turned around.

"Ah! You scared me!". I almost spread the ketchup on him

"Oh Manager-nim why do you always scare us like this?" I continued

"I didn't do this on purpose, anyway you told me you want to end your work early because you will attend on some kids birthday party?" He said

"Ah Yes, I will attend that one". I replied

"So what are you still doing here?"

"Don't worry, the party will start at 8 plus their house is just two blocks away from here, I'll just stay for a little while". I said

"You do sure like to wait, Dahyun-ah"

"People need patience in order to receive good blessings". I smiled

"Really? No wonder I don't receive much blessings today, I didn't have patience at all". He said

Few minutes later I started packing up to go to the event. I politely said goodbye to my Manager and hurriedly fasten my walk to reach the venue.

When I got there, I hurriedly change my clothes and wear my mascot and finally I entertain the kids. Few hours have passed and the party was finally over.

"Ha, Finally its over". I sighed while sitting down on the chair to take a rest.

As I watched those kids having fun, they reminded me of myself back when I was also still a kid, always having fun, getting dirty all the time and nothing to care about anything.

"Time really flies so fast". I said to myself

When I was having fun watching them, Mrs. Park approached me.

"Dahyun-ah, have you eaten yet?" She asked

"Yes, I already did before going in here". I said

"In that case, heres your income, that's 5 dollars. She handed an envelope to me

"5 dollars?!". My eyes widened "Why this many? All I did was standing there. I continued

"Its because you worked hard just to entertain them, you deserve this money". She said

I couldn't force myself to avoid this so I politely accept the money.

"Thank you very much Mrs. Park". I bowed and smiled at her.

"Thank you also for your hard work Dear, take care on the streets when you go home, all right?

"Yes, Thank you again"

"Blessings truly comes to you if you learn to wait". I smiled while looking at the envelope.

It was nearly 10 and I walked on the streets, I still can't believe that I made this much money.

"Is this really happening? I asked myself.

"Dahyun-ah your so amazing". I praised myself

As I happily walked on the street, I suddenly heared footsteps behind me, I hesitated to look at first because I thought it was a burgler or something so I quicken my steps, soon the steps behind me turned into running ones and it creeped me like hell and again because of curiosity I turned to see what's behind me and without for do ado, a guy bumped really hard to me. And because of the hard impact both of us fell on the ground.

"Ah, it hurts it hurts". I groan

When I open my eyes I was shocked to see a handsome face in front of me, we both stared at each other for a minute but he then hurriedly got up. He looked at me and casually helped me to get up too.

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Ye-Yes I-I'm o-okay". I stuttered

"Good, now please get out of my way pabo". He said then pushed me slowly to the side

He ran fast again. Leaving me there frozen to where I stood. Just then my senses came back.

"What? Did he just call me Pabo?" I said to myself then I turned around.

"Yah! You were the first one who bumped into me! I shouted.

I just didn't mind that little accident and went home. When I arrived at my apartment, I changed my clothes and eat some healthy snack while watching TV. Somehow my shoulders hurt so bad because of the huge impact with that guy. And then suddenly the incident a while ago came back to my mind.

"Tsk, I thought that guy was something else, but boy I was so wrong. But he has a charismatic face though. Mmm don't mind about that Dahyun-ah even though that guy is good-looking his attitude somehow is not good at all. Tsk tsk. I said

And with that I turned off the TV and went to my bedroom.

"Waaaa ~ It's been a long and tiring day for you Dahyun, you should really go to sleep now". I said to myself

I closed my eyes and immediately drifted to sleep.
