Chapter 2 Kad

I wonder where Ellie is, she hasn't been home as much, after we found out she got bullied and self harms. She never wants to come home because my mom likes to yell at her and throw stuff and hit her and sometimes whip here. Beth and I try and stop mom but every time we try our mom threatens us that she will shoot Ellie. Its really hard having a mom like ours.

"I'm staying after school today" I texted Beth. I want to try out for the football team really bad. I love to do sports but if my mom finds out then I will be busted she might kill me. You must think im joking or something. Yeah, im not she almost killed Beth when she got a boyfriend, Beth brought home Jayden, my mom saw him grabbed a gun and filled it and then she pointed it at him and said, leave my house before I shoot you and my daughter. Beth never heard from him again poor Beth ever since then she has always done the chores and shopping taking us places everything that our mom should be doing. Well time for football tryouts.

Football tryouts went really well, but one thing..... I made the team! I don't know how to tell Beth or my mom or Ellie, all though Ellie wont care Beth and mom will care a lot. Should I tell them and just tell beth they need an extra person for a few games. Will she say oh you could of tried out for the team, then what do I say ill ask the coach if I can join? Well here it goes, "Beth if I tried out for the football team and lets say I made it what would you do?" she looked at me for a minute than gave me a hug. "Kad, you made the team im so proud of you, you don't have to tell mom yourself I will for you." Im shocked how did she know did the school call her? I so hope not, i don't want Beth to get hurt for me making the team i need to tell mom myself. "Beth, thank you for the offer but I need to tell my mom myself I don't want you to get hurt for my actions." She looks sad and confused at the same time. "Kad, I don't want you to make a team and then cant play because mom hurt you. I will tell her for you."

We get home Beth and I decied we will tell mom together. "Mom we have something to tell you." We both say, Beth whisped in my ear she is drunk she wont remember tomorrow its fine we wont get hurt or yelled at. "WHAT! Im trying to have a drink and you are talking to me i don't want you here leave me alone!" "Well, its hard to say don't get mad, I made the football team at school." "Its not that bad mom I will drive him and pay for the fee's don't hurt us please." Beth said. "YOU MADE THE TEAM? WITH OUT TELLING ME! HOW DARE YOU! I WONT HURT YOU ILL HURT ELLIE!" "NO!" Beth and I both scream. Mom runs and grabs ellie and then pushes her down the stairs we have a total of 15 stairs. I look at Beth and said ill call 911 you go grab Ellie before mom hurts her more.
