After a girly catch up, which took around three hours, pizza and drinks were needed. All three of the girls were curled up in the lounge waiting for the delivery to be delivered. Max sauntered into the living room five pizza boxes in his hands, behind him Mason, his friend also sleeping over, had various drinks in his.
Evie's parents were out at a work do. They were top lawyers and these things often came up. They'd go away for the weekend, out on Friday night, back Sunday morning. Today was Friday night. After saying good bye to their children, her parents set off. They knew that the kids had friends over and didn't really mind, Evie and Max were trustworthy enough.
"What are we watching?" Max inquired dropping the pizza boxes on the floor and slumping on the sofa, he squeezed between Lydia and Abby.
"Well it had to be 'When Harry met Sally'" Lydia said quickly, blushing as Max put his arm around her and Abby. Since they were small Lydia had had a crush on Max. One year older than her, he always seemed cool and different. She'd always try and play with him and his friends during playtime, and follow him everywhere. Since then Lydia had "grown out of it", but there were still times when she felt the old feelings flood back.
Max was quite an attractive. He was a male Abby. Sexy and he fucking knew it. But Max didn't have a malicious bone in his body. He was a serial flirt, but he'd only had one relationship, which had ended terribly a month ago because of various issues. Max had, once upon a time liked Lydia, but they had been too young for anything to actually happen. He wasn't looking for "commitment" at this time, so anything that could of happened between him and Lydia, probably wouldn't.
"Budge up fat arse!" Mason said to Evie, pushing her a bit. Mason had been a member of the family for as long as Evie could remember, a surrogate brother. He somehow brought out the best in her.
"Sit on the floor!"
"Not likely!" He grabbed Evie's feet and pulled her to the floor, he then scrambled to the armchair on his hands and knees, attempting to get there, almost making it, until she leapt on his back. They wrestled for a bit, the others calling out their chosen champion, everyone chanting "Evie, Evie, Evie." Until Evie, being nimble, wriggled out and jumped on the armchair.
Mason sat on the floor hanging his head, giving Evie puppy dog eyes,
"Sorry Evie, you won fair and square, please, please let me sit with you!"
"Fair's fair, because I'm nice, you can join me," Evie said winking at Mason. She moved up onto the arm to allow him access, she didn't mind sitting on the arm. He smirked, then defeatedly raised his eyebrows and sat on the armchair, pulling her into his lap, so they could fit on the small chair. She giggled softly. He cuddled her round the waist and nuzzled her neck to show his appreciation. Evie pushed him lightly,
"Get off you big softie."
"You love me really," she gave him a face, he pulled one back. The he put his palm straight onto her face, pushing it away
"Beaten by a girl mate, ooosh" Max chuckled, he knew that his sister and his best mate would eventually end up together. In fact he encouraged it. He was some what of a behind the scenes organiser. All Max felt he had to do was get them alone together. It worked in the films, he was sure it would work here too.
The extrovert, the mouse, the intelligencia, the player and the slut. Mason, Evie, Lydia, Max and Abby. It shouldn't work, but it did. They always seemed to be together, they had for a long time, and the age gap didn't seem to matter anymore. Not now they were older.

The film started playing, but no one really paid any attention too it. And eventually they sat in that circle, bottle of wine in Abby's hand ready to play 'Never have I ever'. Abby, being Abby, began.
"Never have I ever had sex," Abby passed the bottle around, only Max taking a swig.
"Really, a room full of sixteenish seventeenish year olds and only one has had sex," Max said winking, "are we sure we're all telling the truth?" Abby blanched, yanked the bottle back and took a tiny sip.
"But you started it!" Mason said incredulously, she bit her lip shrugging,
"Oh well."
Lydia grabbed the bottle,
"Never have I ever stolen something!" Everyone drank. Lydia looked around in shock, "how cheap are you lot?"
"Nah it was only Max's gameboy, he annoyed me, so I got even," Evie smiled cheekily
"Oh, so now the truth comes out!" Max whacked Evie, playfully, on the arm.
"My go!" Evie squealed, "Never have I ever fancied Max!"
"I would hope not." Abby muttered smirking at Evie. Evie stuck her middle finger up, casually grinning.
The bottle went round the circle. Max chugged, greeted with laughter from the rest of them. Mason, grinning, sipped the bottle.
"I was pissed..." He said in mock humiliation
Lydia nervously giggled before taking a massive gulp. Then Abby winked, tipped the bottle upwards, and smiled.
"Whose next?" She said, offering the bottle round.
