Heyo guys-
So I've been going over my notes on 'Why us?' since I'm drawing the book to a close and I've realised I've left a lot of stuff out that I feel is important. Now as most of you know, when I write a book, I go with my gut and write it as it comes to me, however, I do have certain details I write down to incorporate into the story and points they need to be introduced. I skipped over whole side points that now make no sense for example, the gift Emma received in 'Why me?' containing Trust's Pokéball was meant to be resolved but I simplely don't have the space within my 70 chapter goal (plus prologue and epilogue). Of course I did similar things between 'Why me?' and 'Why you?' but I feel as the last book to the series, 'Why us?' has to meet the expectations of the prequels. So I'm left with two options.
• The first: Finish writing 'Why us?' as it is now. So I'll just leave the book how it is and continue down the track I'm on now, finish it then take it down and edit through it. At one point or another, this is going to happen to all my books, especially my older ones but again, I feel like 'Why us?' needs to be special so it would be first (except 'Star struck but that was trash anyway)
• The second: Unpublished the book now and fix it up over the holidays, replublishing chapters as I go. This is what I'm doing with 'Star struck' right now but it's not that high in my priorities list right now. 'Why us?' however will be top priority.
Both these options are similar, ones just delaying when I do it. Please let me know which one you'd think is better, even if you don't read the book.
