Cold chills run down my spine as if a seven inch blade is being repeatedly hammered in and out of my broken back, quite coincidental really considering beside me stands one of the most untrustworthy, backstabbing men on this god forsaken universe. His name is Daniel, he is a 6ft3 cannibal who thrives off the pain of his prey, a profound predator who's interests lie precisely in peered perfection from those who pressure him most. I do not trust him, yet I still keep him as close companion, I know I can rely on him cautiously countering the opposition that pose us threat. Well for now anyways.
Ice glacials start to form on my lips like the fangs of a vampire, again another coincidence, my skin as pale as the moonlight (yet again, another coincidence) as the frost freezes my already frozen blood into a further, now dangerous state. If I was no vampire, I would merely be dead. I force my body to fight on, forcing limbs I no longer felt back into action like a soldier wounded on the battlefield; eager to march on, I force blood back into my legs and take steady pace.
We eventually come to a halt and embrace an old, abandoned school buried half in snow towering above us, we take haste and enter it accordingly.
The smell of blood fills within my nostrils, the ever so indulging aroma seeping through and urging my every needs...
Think fast.
I burst into an empty locker room knowing I have to stop myself. Daniel swiftly follows and; with one strike to the head, I knock him out cold, stopping him in his tracks before his senses become as up to date as my own.
I have to think fast and set plans in motion to distract myself.
