"Carmen, come over here, sweetie" My mom yelled and I sighed before I turned the wheelchair towards where she was. I rolled the wheels, going through the halls and into the entrance. I was glad I could at least move my arms. I stopped in front of my mom "meet your new caretaker" I looked at the guy with a bored expression. "mom, he's a guy" I pointed out "I know" My mom smiled as she put her hand on his shoulder. He shrugged it off as I gulped, they actually got me a male caretaker. How am I supposed to take a shower when he'll be the one to wash me!? "Please tell me he's gay" I said and my mom laughed as he rolled his eyes. "I'm pretty sure I'm straight." He said, crossing his arms over his chest. He had pitch black hair with pale skin and stormy grey eyes. His skin was pale, almost too pale and he has a sharp jaw. In all honesty, he was kind of attractive. I stared at my mom with a blank expression as I blinked. "Mom, can you please try to find someo-" She cut me off "you'll be fine with him, trust me" She snapped. "Anyway, I'll be going. You take care of her" My mom said to the guy as she left. I gulped as he looked back at me, he rolled his eyes before walking past me. I had no idea that my mom wasn't coming back, neither my dad, not even my friends. No one.
