Chapter I - Searching

It's 2016. I'm Rose Calvert's great granddaughter. She was a survivor of the Titanic and supposedly owned the "Heart of the Ocean," a valuable necklace given to her by her former fiancée, Cal Hockley. It was said to have gone down with the ship, which would logically make sense. But word got out that she had it all along when she went out on another voyage with Brock Lovett, who was trying to find the necklace for its riches. That night, she threw back into the sea, where, in my opinion, it belongs. She sadly passed away that night, warm in her bed at the age of 101.
Now, the same dude is back at it again, pulling ME onto this stupid submarine to try and find the necklace again. Mind you, I'm seventeen. About the same age as my great grandmother when she boarded the Titanic. I was contacted by Brock some days ago. At first we refused to help, because we're against him searching and searching. But, he wouldn't let me OR my mother go until we finally gave in. So, here I am, flying by helicopter to the seeker's ship.
As I arrive, I'm greeted by Mr. Lovett, giving out his hand.

"Kirah, welcome to my vessel. I'm Brock Lovett." Obviously. He had a forceful, firm grasp.

"Charmed..." I reply.

I'm uncomfortable, knowing this is a complete waste of my time, but then I realize, maybe this could be something educational. Maybe I can learn some things about my great grandmother that no one has told me.
He walks me down a hall after I hop off the helicopter as other people grab my things and put them in my cabin. Eventually, we arrive in a room filled with pieces of history from the Titanic on display. His findings are incredible.

"I'm going to guess these are from the ship?" I ask. We're walking a little slower now.

"Indeed they are," he replies, smirking.

I look down. Something has really caught my eye. A drawing of a woman, lying on a couch nude, with only a necklace on. It has the initials, "JD" written on the corner as well as the date. April 14th, 1912. The night of the sinking. I stop.

"Mr. Lovett, may I ask what this is exactly?"
