Beatrice
You probably don't know me, at all. Not even the minuscule bit. However, I'll tell you someone you would know: my parents, Rose and Evan Nash. They are the owners and CEOs of the big gold company we own. And lucky me, I'm the heiress. So unless you read business magazines, don't be surprised that you weren't aware of my mere existence.
Though you might want to know a bit about me to at least understand my story. My name is Beatrice Irene Nash and I am the most plain person you would meet. I had straight black hair with black eyes. See, plain. Well, other than my abundant riches. You might ponder on how lucky I am, but in reality, I would rather be just a middle class family that doesn't have to star in Forbes every once in a while. That's mainly why I choose to stay out of popularity at school, because I already have enough of those.
You could say that I was probably a profoundly sarcastic person, but I've only ever show that side of myself to my best friend. Speaking of her, she, unlike me, was extremely extra-ordinary. She had these beautiful brown locks and fringes that complimented her whole look. Her eyes were a starry black like the night sky, unlike mine which were like a blackhole. Not to mention how talented she was in her studies.
Now, you might wonder what brought us together, seeing as though we were currently polar opposites (boring and alluring). It was simply the magic of art that decided that our worlds should clash and conjoin. We both shared a common interest in painting, or just simply creating art. It was our thing, and it was clearly my hobby, as I had pretty much dropped hints on.
A shriek suddenly broke my train of thoughts, and I whipped my head around to lay my orbs onto a magnificent painting of a silhouette of a wolf under the iridescent moonlight. It prompted a gasp out of me and I immediately commended," Ashley, you've truly outdone yourself..."
She gave a lopsided grin accompanied by a slight sanguine blush, then changed the topic as soon as her stomach growled,"C'mon, let's get to lunch. I'm famished!"
As I looped my arm around Ashley's, we trudged out of the room, and I was about to let my mind wander off to thoughts of today's food menu when my head bumped into a buff and sturdy chest that caught me off guard.
I staggered back and looked at the figure that just clashed with me. I won't lie though, the guy was hot. His eyes were the blue and green of the oceans and they were mesmerising; not to mention how his tight blue V-neck displayed his very well sculpted six pack very well. My eyes were caught in a trance, unable to pull away.
"Like what you see?" they guy's voice erupted in a hoarse and smug voice. I scoffed inevitably. So he was one of those guys, the ones who don't give a shit about people's feelings and act all confident about their mere existence.
"No, I was just distracted because I've never met someone so ugly before in my whole life," I fired back in attempts to wreck his previous comment. I have to say, I was pretty proud of my savage comebacks, because usually I would be too shy to even speak. But this guy surely does put me on edge...
Then, I heard Ashley emit a gasp from beside me, then squealed,"Beatrice, this is my cousin, Timothy! Timothy, meet my partner in crime, Beatrice."
