Eliza's POV
I run out the house slamming the door behind me. Jogging down the dark street that's only lit by the dim street lights the path wet with soggy autumn leafs scattered around. I finally reach the open park, my black vans looking shinny as I walk across the socking grass.

I reach the swings and dry the seat of with the sleeve of my black hoody. I sit down and gently push myself so I'm slightly swaying. I just sit there and think of all the memories of this massive park that I can't make any more of them I think back to the first time I visited this place.

I was 10 years old and I had just moved here from the U.K. where I rarely visited a park as it rained most the time or the fact that I didn't live in the safest of areas for a 10 year old girl to be out on her own. So when we moved to Sydney 5 years ago it was like a whole new beginning for me I could really be myself and be happy.

I first came here not long after I moved here, it was after my first day at school where I had successfully spoke to around 4 people who I didn't even realise would turn out to be the biggest part of my new life.

And yet they are being ripped away from me like that they are all moving on to peruse their lives yet I'm going to be stuck here not knowing what I want to do with myself.

I didn't even realise that I was crying until I heard someone ask if I was ok. I looked up, I was really glad it was pitch black out here or the person would be able to see what a state I looked in now I had my hair in a messy bun and just a hoodie and a pair of ripped jeans on.

As I looked up to see the street lamp glowing off someone's face who was smiling down at me I thought I recognised them from one of the local schools but I wasn't sure. "urm yes I'm ok thank you" I say trying not to let my voice crack.

After I had reassured them that I was ok and that I should really leave to go home now he tried to make me stay because them new that I really wasn't fine at all. I apologised and said I was fine and that my mum would be worrying about me if I wasn't home soon. And that was a lie because she didn't even know that I was out here because I was supposed to be staying at Luke's but I guess I'm not.

On my stroll home I plug my earphones in and listen to some of their music, I'm mot mad at them well at least I don't think I am I hope they understand it was just a shock that they will be gone for 8 months and I won't see them.

I was really happy for them I really was this is all they have ever dreamed off and now its happening it's a chance of a life time. I carry on my walk back to my house when I hear voices that I recognise too well calling my name in the dark of night. I pull my hood over my head and try to walk as fast as I can away from them but it doesn't work, "Eliza we know that's you come here!!" after I here that I go to run strait to all of them as I go to cross the road the last thing I remember seeing is the bright headlights the screeching of the breaks and all of their faces begging me to stay awake....

Only if I had looked first maybe I would be able to support them but I didn't and it's too late now I wish I could have supported them...
