The next morning it was the weekend so Ashley didn't have any school. It was 10 a.m. Buttons were sleeping at the end of Ashley's bed, she woke up and licked her face because it was time to get up Ashley didn't have to set her alarm since there was no school. Ashley woke up and said good morning girl to Buttons and Good girl. Ashley and Buttons went to the kitchen for breakfast and the news was on. The news reporter said there was a girl named Rebecca who was kidnapped by Penney's clothing store. Buttons ran out the door to save Rebecca. Mom called the police and said Ashley, a few minutes later the police came to the door and knocked on the door Mike said sir can my family please come with you because our puppy Buttons is gone to save the teenage girl Rebecca who got kidnapped today and the policewoman said yes, of course, your family can. Half an hour later they made it to Penney's but Rebecca, Buttons and the kidnapper weren't there they drove around the corner and heard barking. Ashley says that must be button baking. They got out of the police car and there were the kidnapper, Buttons, Rebecca and news reporters. Buttons will not let the kidnapper leave. The police arrested the kidnapper and brought him to jail. Buttons ran straight over to Ashley. One of the news reporters came over to the family and said into a microphone I am Jessica the RTE head reporter and I am with a puppy who saved Rebecca from getting kidnapped she asked the family what is the name of the hero, Ashley said Buttons. Jessica said Buttons the hero puppy and if you are in trouble just bark and she will be on the way to you.
