After creating the universe, the goddess Nerynu was tired. However, she had a dream of creating another world that would be able to sustain life. Therefore, she created four pairs of dragons, one male and one female, and gave each pair a particular power so that they could help her create this new world. The Red Dragons were given the power of fire. The White Dragons were given the power of air. The Green Dragons were given the power of earth. Finally, the Blue Dragons were given the power of water. After she gave the dragons their powers, she began to form the new world. She first instructed the Red Dragons to use their power of fire to create a sphere made out of liquid fire. She then commanded the White Dragons to use their power of air to cool the liquid fire so that it hardened into rock. She then ordered the Green Dragons to use their power of earth to create the plants and animals. Finally she directed the Blue Dragons to use their power of water to create thin, small, and vast bodies of water so that the plants and animals could thrive. After the last droplet fell, Nerynu and the Dragons gazed at the new world they created. Nerynu and the Dragons then agreed that this new world would be called Earth because the plants and animals, made by the power of earth, were the most important characteristics of this world.
