Song~ Nothing by The Script

Jaime's Point of View.

They say that things happen for a reason right? Well I wanna know the reason why this mysterious girl I ran into at 7-11 is running through my mind. Every minute, every second, every hour she is there. I have never, never ever, thought of a girl this much. It all started on a nice summers day, in San Diego, California.

~

"Jaime, let's go get some slurpies before we leave," Vic said pushing me toward the 7-11. "Alright," I was always down for a slurpie. It was a hot day, and we were on our way to the best summers festival tour. Warped tour. I love Warped, it's always great to see friends and watch begining bands play.

Anyways, we walked into 7-11 and we walked toward the back. I got the 42 oz. one along with Vic and we stared and pondered which flavor(s) to get. Vic decided to get Blueberry, I wasn't sure what to get though, so I just got a mix of Blueberry and cherry. I pulled down the crank and hummed along to the weird music that was playing in the background. "Jaime, Hurry up," Vic called.

I rolled my eyes and quickly turned around running into a girl who had some soda. The soda and my slurpied landed on both of us.

"I AM SO SORRY!" We both shouted at the same time. The browness of her Dr. Peppe and the red of the cherry in my slurpie stained both of our shirts.  She started to giggle and look down. "I'll pay for your slurpie."

"Oh no, let me buy your soda."

"Rock, paper, scissors?"

I smirked and held my hand in a fist, she mimicked and we Rock, paper, scissored. I won and smirked. She pouted. I got napkins and got off as much of the slurpie and drink off her face. Her face shined as he turned pink. "Thanks."

"You're welcome."

We redid our stuff and walked to the check out. The guy behind the counter gave us the dirty eye. I smiled and handed him money. He rolled his eyes and mumbled something incoherent. "Have a great day sir," He grunted and we walked out. Vic waited outside then rose an eyebrow as he saw her and I. "Hey Jaime, you got a little something on your shirt."

"Glad you noticed Vic." He smiled and pulled me away from her. "Thank you for the drink!"

"You're welcome! Sorry for running into you!"
"Stop talking and lets go, they're about to leave" Muttered Vic.

"Don't worry about it."

I smiled and began to walk.

 "What's her name?"
"Oh, I didn't ask..." I turned around, "Hey--" She wasn't there. My eyes grew sad. I was never going to see her again.

"Mystery girl. That's her name." I mumbled taking off my shirt. I walked onto the bus sighing.

-Now-

It's January now and the incident basically happened over half a year ago. Laying facedown on the back lounge I close my eyes. I saw her face. I quickly opened them and rubbed my eye. I only saw her once and she was covered in Dr. Pepper and Slurpie! What the hell? Why is she in my thoughts every waking moment? I only saw her once. Only one time. She haunts my dreams, she's my "mystery girl." I just wish I could see her once more. Just to see why I'm having such sleepless nights.
