Arnold approached his parent in laws right away. Elaine's eyes was glued to his shoulder, when he was within arm range, she pull his black suit and saw a huge blood stained on his shirt. Everyone was gasped when  how much blood Erica lost, even Arnold himself was shocked.

"Oh, my poor baby!" Elaine couldn't help but exclaimed, even though she was calm earlier, but when she saw how bad the suffering that her daughter had gone through, she still felt the pain.

"I am sorry, Mother, Father! I promise you, I will take good care of her and i failed." Arnold hung his head down in regret and embarrassment.

Ethan patted him on the shoulders with both hands,  "It's not your fault, Arnold! Nobody could have guessed this would happened. You have to stop blaming yourself!"

"Yes, Arnold. When it come to protecting the one you love, there is no difference between men and women. We are equal. I believe you will do the same for her too." Elaine tried to reassure him.

Arnold looked at them back and forth, he then nodded his head in silent.

Ethan and Elaine looked at each other at the eyes. They remembered Erica had told them before, If you want Arnold really agree to anything, you have to make you spill out the words. So, they knew Arnold didn't really agree to them, but they also didn't want to force him. Sometimes a man need to work it out himself. They just hoped Erica will be alright and everything could go back to normal.

"Did you caught the culprit?" Alex asked from where he was standing.

"No, he got away. I heard from Jeff, it was a man in full black attire. He had gone back to check the surveillance cameras. I hope we got something."

Alex took his phone out, "I will call my team and we will be working with Jeff. We will find him!" he said to Arnold before he turned his body and walked away.

"Then, while we are waiting, let's have lunch. I will go and buy some, also a clean clothes for you, darling!" Martha added the last one while staring at Arnold.

"I am coming with you. I can't stand to wait here doing nothing." Elaine approached her.

"Okay! Let's go!" She put her hand on her husband's arm, "I am going then!"

"Be careful!" Andrew grabbed her hand.

"I will!" She gave him a reassuring smile and walked out with Elaine.

"Dad, do you think his target was us?" Alice asked out.

"I am not so sure, Sweetheart. But better careful than sorry! We still don't know who this shooter is aiming for. Is it only Arnold or all of the Binders! That's why it's better if you stay here."

"But, Mum? If it is dangerous out there, then why did you let her go?" Aiden started to chase after his mother.

Andrew stopped him. "Your mum maybe look weak, but she isn't vulnerable. Beside she brought our driver with her. Ben is a former police officer, he knew more about criminals than us. He had always been your bodyguard in shadow since I hired him. I believe he won't let anything happen to Martha."

Arnold suddenly felt vibrates from his pocket, he fished out his phone. "It's from Jeff." He told his father, "I got to go outside to take this phone." and walked out of the building without noticing Arthur was following him.

"How is it, Jeff?" He asked directly.

"We had looked at the recording, Boss. But, we still couldn't figure out his face or his identity. We are looking at the neighborhood's surveillance cameras, hopefully we got some lead from there."
