Chapter 1-The beginning

Emily's pov

I can't believe Ali is still alive. I thought she was dead, but I always felt she was still here. I glance over to my bed and see I got a message.

we have to talk. Meet at the brew?-hanna

Sure. I'll be there in 20 minutes-
emily

I look at the clock and it's 3:30. I hop in the shower and by the time I get out it is 3:40. Ok good I have 10 minutes to get ready. After tearing apart my closet I finally find something to wear. Now I'm headed to the brew.
Hanna's pov
I was sitting at the brew waiting for Em to come. I was ordering myself a coffee when Emily finally walked in.
"Hey Em"

"Hey, what's going on"

"Nothing I just wanted to see how you were doing since we seen Ali"

"I'm doing good"

she totally hesitated. I wonder why.
Emily's pov
" I'm doing good"
why did I hesitate?I don't think she noticed anyway.

"Why do you think she came back out of nowhere?"-hanna

Why would she come back? Why did she fake her death in the first place? Calm down emily maybe ali will explain it all to us.

" Han I don't know , maybe she was just tired of running."

Hanna looked at her phone and started getting her things.

" Sorry Em I have to go meet my mom, but I'll call you later?"

I nodded my head and she left.
I just got to my house and I decided to sleep. While I was falling asleep my phone buzzed.
Emily I've missed you, can you meet me at the old warehouse alone? Please don't tell the other girls.-ali
I didn't know if I was dreaming or not ,but I decided to act on impulse.

Of course Ali. I'll be there soon-emily
I threw on my sweater and headed out the door again.
I finally pulled up to the old warehouse. I looked around not knowing if this was an A trap. I turned the corner and I saw her. Ali looked more beautiful then ever. She must've been nervous because she was shaking.
"Ali?"

"Hello emily"

We looked at eachother for a while before Ali hugged me.

"Mermaid you don't know how much I've missed you. You were the hardest to leave behind"

I was hugging her so tight because it could've been the last time I saw her.

"Then stay with me. I don't think  my mom would mind"

" Em the other girls hate me , and I don't know if I can deal with that"

"They don't hate you Ali. They are mad ,but they will never hate you."

"Do you hate me?"

She was so vulnerable you could hear it in her voice. I wondered what happened while she was gone.
" I could never hate you Ali "

"Well then let's go to your house. I'm tired of running"

I grabbed Ali's hand and we walked to my car and I started driving to my house. While driving I could feel her staring at me.

"Its not polite to stare you know"
She laughed and I didn't know how much I missed her laugh until I heard it.

"Sorry its just that I missed you a lot.. all of you guys. I'm just scared of the girls hating me that's all."

I pulled the car over and looked straight into her eyes.

" Ali listen to me okay. The girls could never hate you. We were mad because you left without telling us, and we were supposed to be your best friends. But I got over it and they will too, trust me. I'm here, you don't have to be scared. I won't let anyone hurt you. "

" Thanks Em I needed that.
Mermaid you always know how to make me feel better."

We smiled at eachother for a while and started driving back to rosewood.
