Nancy's POV
"I can't believe we are going in two days Tom" I said to my best friend. His full name is Tommy Okeig I know right what a cringe name but deep down I did love him and all his dead jokes.
"I really can't wait" he said with a annoying yet cute smile. I knew what he meant by he couldn't wait he was in love like literally head over heels over my best friend Lola and he was so happy she was coming along.
"You're acting like your parents never let you out of your house" I teased him.
"Nancy chill your the one who looks out of the window like a lost puppy." He laughed so hard that almost all of the people in the bus were staring at us.
"Are you happy your honey boo boo is coming too?" He looked at me waiting for my reponse.
"Yeah yeah whatever" I felt all the butterflies jump in my tummy all at once as all the words escaped out of his mouth. It was quite ridiculous. I mean I have had a crush on Tom's best friend for three years now. His name is called Daniel. We had a weird but cute relationship together, we went out in year 8 but I kind of dumped him because of all the feelings I had towards him. They were just too strong and plus it's just too risky to love someone more than they love me.
"Nancy are you okay?" He looked quite worried it almost made me laugh.
"I am alright I am just wondering how D of E will be like especially now that Deborah and Anastasia won't be coming." They were my two closest friends and I loved them to bits but Deborah couldn't come due to exclusion in school and behavior while Anastasia had some family problems to deal with.
"Don't worry as long as: me, you, Daniel, Lola, Vanessa, Jasmine, Jacob, Kevin and Trevor stick together we will have a lot of fun. Anyway this is our stop let's go!"
As soon as we went to school I saw all of my friends and I couldn't help wishing that we all picked the same course but unfortunately for Benjamin, Prince and Abraham they didn't get accepted.
"Hey Nancy, Hey Tom."
"Hey, just two days left Lola." I screamed at my best friend in excitement and she laughed and hugged me, squeezing every last breath out of me.
"I know right, I can't wait too." she beamed.
The school bell rang immediately and
I saw Daniel and he looked at me quite weirdly and thats when I
realised this whole two day camping trip would be a lot harder than I ever thought.
