Hey everyone! I'm really excited about this book. I've had this idea for awhile now and I'm finally writing it!
I hope you enjoy!

Friday June 22nd, 2016.

When you start college they don't tell you that you'll be sad it's over. They say you will finally be starting your life.. traveling the world. Falling in love.. pursuing your dream career. All thanks to the wonderful education you have acquired here, at college.

Well whoever told you those things are lying pieces of shit.

Right now I'm sitting in a royal blue cap and gown with a yellow tassel sitting on the right side of my face. I'm staring at the dean of my school as he tells us what the rest of our life holds. He tells us how proud he is for making it through four years. The "best four years of our lives".

My question is, What about the rest of our lives?

Will none of that measure up to college?

Will my friends and I never be as close?

Will I actually find a boyfriend that doesn't just want to hump and dump me?

All of these questions are running through my head making my palms sweaty. I should be listening to Professor Dillinger as he gives his probably well rehearsed speech. But instead I'm wondering what the hell I'm going to do tomorrow?

My best friend, Kate, and I bought an apartment together and we moved in everything last week. I should be excited about that.

But in the back of my mind I know she won't be there long.

Kate and Kate's boyfriend, Derek, have been dating for a few months now and I know Derek wants her to move in with him. I could sense the tension when we told him we bought our apartment.

Kate's already over there half of the week, eventually she's just going to move in with him and I'm going to be alone. Again.

I couldn't ever ask Darren, my other long lasting best friend, to live with me. Tianna, his amazing girlfriend of one year, would never allow it. She lives with her friends in a house off of campus. But even I know she won't be there for long. Darren told me before graduation that he's going to ask her to move in with her. So that takes him off the list of people I have to keep me from being a loner at age twenty-two.

'And now for the graduating class of 2016.' Professor Dillinger says. 'Let's give a round of applause to this years' graduates.' He motions for us to rise as the crowd's hands clap together.
