Chapter 5

HANEUL'S POV
It was already morning and the smell of food woke me up

I never ate any food in that house except for noodles

I got downstairs and saw Eunwoo preparing breakfast.... But it looks like he's going to school

"Haneul, you're awake please prepare the plates for the two of us"

Plates?......

Weird i think i-

That's right, i remembered it again

I got two plates and placed them on the table

"Hey Haneul" Eunwoo called out my name and i hummed in response

"What did you mean last night by die again?" i was shook, i didn't know what to say what if he doesn't want me here anymore?

I should tell the truth

"I-I'm a-a ghost" i heared Eunwoo chuckled

"Your k-"

"I'm not kidding, Eunwoo" i looked at him in the eyes seriously

"B-but, then how can i touch you?"

"I don't know" i heared him let out a sigh

"I-it's okay if you don't want me here anymore, but i'll protect you as long as i can"

"And why do you want to protect me?! You're a ghost!"

"I want to protect you because i want to! Something's telling me i should"

"I'll do anything! Just let me protect you Eunwoo!"

"You'll do anything? Then, go with me to the school"

"School? I've never been there! I'll just finish this really fast"

"You've never been there? Even before you..."

"Yeah, i've never been there mama wouldn't let me go out"

"Mama?"

"Mama, the one who took care of me ever since i was 4 and would p- Sorry! That's all i can tell you for now" i smiled as i finished my food

"I'm done! Let's go Eunwoo" he grabbed his backpack and headed out as i followed him

"So what do you want me to do in your school?"

"Help me find out what the girl that i like wants in her birthday"

"Okay! But what does she look like?" he showed me her picture and there's no lie she's beautiful.

"Isn't she pretty?" Eunwoo asked and i nodded continuously

"She is really pretty! Do you know where she hangs out often?" i asked so that it'll be easier to find her

"She hangs out pretty often with her friends at the rooftop, her name's Hana"

"You sound like a stalker Eunwoo" i looked at him weirdly

"Yah! I'm not a stalker, i just see her often there"

"Okay okay, calm down"he stopped walking and i looked at him curiously

"Why did we stop walking?"

"We're here, the school's just near my neighborhood so we don't need to ride anything" i stared at the building in front of me

So this is a school? It's so big

I stared at it in awe.

"Stop staring and let's go inside" he started walking and i followed him behind

"Eunwoo, don't talk to me they might think you're crazy" he nodded and brought me somewhere quiet

"When you hear the bell, wait for me here, okay?" i nodded and he left to go to his classroom

Now, time to explore this school.

I looked at each classroom searching an empty seat and finally found one

"Yay! An empty one" i sat there and listen to the teacher

"So this is how it feels to be in a class? I like it" i scanned the classroom and found someone who looked familiar

"Oh! Isn't that Hana?" i took a closer look at her face and it really is her

"Woah, she's alot beautiful in person" i sat back on the empty chair

"I finally found her, now all i need to do is follow her" after 30 minutes or so i heard the bell rang and the students all bowed to their teacher

"Huh? Why are they leaving?" i ran towards Hana's chair but she wasn't there already

"She's a fast one" i got out of the classroom, but she wasn't there too

I forgot! I'm supposed to wait for Eunwoo behind the school, but i don't even know where i am right now.

"How did i even come this far?"

Which way should i go?

Eunwoo...

What if i'll never get to meet him again?

No, i'm going to find him

I ran to the rooftop and looked down to see if Eunwoo was there and there he, near a tree looking for someone lost

"EUNWOO!!! UP HERE!!!!" I shouted as loud as i can

"What are you doing there?!"he shouted back and luckily Hana isn't here yet

"I GOT LOST AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO!"

"I'm coming, so wait there!" he started walking and i waited for him

"If you ever get lost, take an adventure and don't stop until you reach the end" i heared Eunwoo and sat up

"Eunwoo!" i ran up to him and hugged him

"I thought i was gonna lose you"

"Idiot, i'm here now so stop thinking about losing me because you never will, okay?" i nodded and let go of him

"And it ended when i didn't reply anymore since i fell asleep" a voice?

"I think that's Hana, we should go" Eunwoo was about to open the door but then Hana opened it first

"Eunwoo? What are you doing here?" Hana asked

"I was getting some fresh air, i'm about to leave so don't worry"

"Is that so? Then you can just stay"

"No, it's okay besides my friends just called me"

"Oh, okay then" Eunwoo left and i followed him

"You should have made your move Eunwoo"

"I was too nervous and her friends were there too" is that how it works?

"Anyways, Eunwoo you can go back home first, i have something else to do"

"What are you gonna do?"

"You don't need to know, it's not important"

"Okay, just don't do something crazy" i nodded and the bell rang again

"I'm going back to class, Haneul!" i waved my hand and headed to Hana's classroom again.
