Right, if this garners attention, I may release some more stories, unfortunately for the community at large.

Ideas are free. They flutter and fly in the wind. I am not free. I cannot fly. I cannot flutter. I cannot swim in the wind, free as a bird, ignoring the forces below me. I can only wish. And wishes are nothing, only illusions of hope and actions. Nothing will happen because of wishes. Absolutely nothing.

Shall I tell you a story? A story about a boy who did nothing but wish with all he had. He wished for the noblest of things, and he was so kind and so hopeful that every man and women who met him, which was everyone in his small village, wished for the same things. They wished like him, and they believed. Soon, however, they grew despondent, realizing how utterly useless wishes were in causing events. In hindsight, they realized the immatureness of the child.

When they realized this, they grew infuriated. They burst down his family's door, bent on destroying his hope. They stole everything he thought was precious and stole everything he saw as mundane in nature. The mob then torched his home, believing he was to perish in the flames. He, amazingly, escaped the fiery cage with skill and fortune at his side. His family was not as fortunate.

Shall I tell you what happened to the poor boy? What he did after his world burned down around him? He grew vengeful. He destroyed his village, burned their homes down, letting only the children escape. When he was nearly a man, those he did not kill due to unfortunate circumstances, he chased after them. He beheaded one, with the victim's mouth still open trying to scream. He burned one alive, pinning him to a tree as he went up in flames. He slaughtered one's children in front of him, doing things I cannot say without grimacing. He then left the man alive, forever haunted by the children's murder. He finally settled when everyone dealt with his horror.

Shall I tell you what the boy did when he settled down? He grew into a man. He was strong. Yet he was lonely. No one could understand him; No one wanted to understand him. He was to be left lonely until he died. But even that gift was stolen from him. He was turned into something. And if you wish to know what he turned into.. Well. He turned into me.
