Mew's Dream •Book Two•

Life Progess

The morning sun awoken from its slumber as it beamed on the water of the waterfall where Mewtwo used to live all alone in. Mew wakes up to feel Oscar nudging her with his muzzle, whimpering. Mew squinted at Oscar with his red nose sniffing her face, making her shiver because his nose was wet and cold. Oscar was the Poochyena that Mew and Mewtwo saved. They decided together once Poochyena finally evolved into a Mightyena, to name him so if he runs off, he would react to his new name they have given him. Mew's tail twitched as she finally notices the lack of warmth that helped her sleep. She looks over her shoulder to see her warmth was not to be seen within the cave she was in. Her eyes sadden but yawned as she begins to float. Her eyes slowly glowed as she used her physic powers to split the waterfall into two and to pick up Oscar so he could leave the cave with her. She gently sets down Oscar and watched him sniff the ground in wonder. Mew watches until she heard someone call out for her. She turns around and her eyes  widen to see the electric mice evolution, Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu. She weaves her way over to them swiftly with a huge smile on her face. "Hey guys! I haven't seen you guys in ages! How have three been?" Mew mews happily as she glides side to side happily. "Great! Its good to see you too especially after you disappeared to seek Mewtwo." Raichu said as he waves his hands around to add some gestures. "Yeah, but was the story not true, you know about Mewtwo being a monster and all?" Pichu whispers lowly but only enough for all of them to hear. Mew quickly shook her hear and tilted it as if rethinking her answer. "Not at first, sure he was mean but that's only because he no one to trust. Now he is trying to gain the other pokemon's trust by helping around here in the forest." Mew explains to Pichu who was had his mouth slightly open. Pikachu tilted his head confused. "Where is Mewtwo anyways?" Mew thinks but shrugs. "I woke up with only Oscar in the cave." Mew mutters and flinch to hear Oscar bark loudly. The four pokemon turn around to see Mewtwo floating down to the ground and glance over at Oscar, who was whimpering and sniffing him rapidly. "Mewtwo!" Mew cheers and rushes over to him. Mewtwo looks up from Oscar to have Mew collide into his chest, letting out a grunt. "Good morning Mew." He mutters with a ghostly smile while Mew purrs into his chest. Mewtwo saw movement on the forest line and looks up and notices the three siblings. "Who are they?" Mewtwo mutters quietly gesturing to the three. "Oh! They were the one who told me about you before I met you! The brown one is Raichu, the tall yellow one is Pikachu, and the small yellow one is Pichu." Mew points out to Mewtwo who nods before walking slowly over to them while Mew floated closely beside him. Pikachu and Pichu tremble and hide behind their older brother, Raichu, who acted high and mighty in front in his brothers but was crying on the inside. Mewtwo stops walking once he eyes the two younger brothers and frowns.. He steps back which made Mew confused as Mewtwo walks to the edge of the pond and sit down. Oscar shuffles over to him and lays his head down onto his lap probably whimpering "Mewtwo?" She whispers quietly and looks at the brothers. "Do you three not trust me?" Mew asked quietly as she slowly floated over to them with a sad look. Their eyes widen and they quickly exchanged looks before slowly and hesitantly stepping forward, getting closer to Mewtwo. Mewtwo's head was down with a scowl like he was frustrated which made them stop coming closer which Mewtwo didn't notice. Mew floats over back to Mewtwo and touched his shoulder which Mewtwo absentmindedly placed his hand over, giving it a small squeeze. The brothers watched in awe and quickened their pace slightly until they were in front of him. Mewtwo finally noticed their close presence and a blush quickly invaded his cheeks and turned his head away and placed his hand quickly into his lap. The brothers stared at him before smiling and dance around him happily which he was surprised about. Mew watches from behind him with a gentle smile while the Mewtwo stumbles to look intimidating but fail in front of the three brothers. The rest of the day was filled with fun and laughter and even the brothers brought their friends along to join the fun with Mew and Mewtwo.  Night slowly came and Mew says goodbye to her old friends before heading back to Mewtwo, who was petting Oscar. "Thank you..." Mewtwo muttered when Mew was close to him. She tilted her head confused before Mewtwo continues. "For letting me have a second chance for this world." He said with a smile when he looks at Mew over his shoulder. Mew just smiles and hugs Mewtwo from behind. "You shouldn't be thanking me for something I  didn't do. You did that all on your own Mewtwo.." Mew mutters against his purple skin which made him shiver. He gently grabs the side of Mew's head and gave her a small shy kiss on her pink cheek, making her giggle tiredly. Blushing, he chuckles quietly before picking up the tired Oscar and grabs Mew and place her in front of him so he could see her clearly. His eyes glowed before he began to float upward, splitting the falls into two. Once inside, he sets down Oscar on his makeshift dog bed and Mewtwo carries Mew to his bed. He lays down and placed Mew near his chest. He watches her chest slowly rise and fall as she cuddled up to him like she would usually do before he curled up and fell asleep himself.

But not without giving Mew a kiss on her tired forehead....
