Does it always happen this way? When your time is up, are you born into a world as a different living thing? Now, we may never figure out the truth because our memory would be gone when we've passed. Our memory would be lost in this infinite vortex that we'll never find. Right? Death is a quick paining moment, yes? After that moment, we just moooooooove on? Oh, sorry... It's a thing I do, I can't help it. Ah goodness, I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Dairy the Queen or just Dairy. I'm a cow.

It's dark outside. I turn to the lush fields across my stable house. The fields sway wildly and produce a breezy wisp sound. Such wonders in those tall fields. What's beyond those vast columns of grain? I've seen wild birds, armored armadillos, and sometimes if I'm lucky a coyote. Winter was close and a cold whistle of wild hit me on the muzzle. I decide to take a short stroll through the pasture and nudge open my stable gate. My hooves clopped as I placed one in front of the other, unable to walk with confidence. The howl of the Dire wolf still rang in my ears like it did yesterday evening. I winced. My back still hadn't fully recovered from the ambush. I walk on, the stables maybe a mile far. A noisy fly buzzed at my ear and I flicked it away by shaking my head. Stupid flies. Always a nuisance to cows and the humans.
     aaaauuuurrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh
The cry startled me as it echoed through the night air. It was the Dire wolf's bloodcurdling howl, deep and full. I galloped as dust flew behind me. Heart beating faster than I thought it ever could, I slipped inside my stable house trying not to wake fellow livestock. I collapsed onto the husk hay and felt loose but not safe. My feet ached, head churned, and my breath heavy. The outside world was never meant for me. There would always be blood thirsty creatures ready to rip my hide into shreds, leave gashes on my flesh as memories forevermore. I have to find a safe haven. A place I can really call home. A place where I can feel at ease. I have to leave this country sided farm soon.
