Hey guys,

So I am a huge Wattpad reader and I have read so many stories. I wanted to make a story that is similar to some of my favorites. Please not the the plot and Ideas are my own. DO NOT STEAL or I will come after yo with a spoon. Yes you heard me a spoon. It is one of the most held-out deaths you could be submitted too. So please be kind to yourself and message me if you want to use on of my ideas.

Other than that I really hope you guys like my book. Keep in mind that this is one of the first books I have written and would love if you guys pointed out any mistakes. It would be great if you could give your criticism in a nice manner, I am just a 16 and have feelings... so don't make me cry by saying mean things.

Love you,

Caitlin

She brushed her fingers across the myriad of shirts she had hanging in her closet. She picked up the red shirt and looked in the mirror and felt a groan of unsatisfaction rumble through her before throwing the top onto the ground. "If you keep throwing your clothes on the floor you are going undo all the process you made while unpacking," a voice from behind said.

Brooke whirled around to face Mason's face in the computer screen. "Well maybe if my best friend was here I wouldn't be forced to make all the tough decisions by myself," she taunted back and fall back on the bed.

"Hey don't attack me, I'm not the one who decided to move all the way across to go to an extremely preppy school."

Brooke gave Mason a pointed look, "you know why I had to leave, trust me if things could go back to they way they were I wouldn't be happier."

His smile went away with her last retort, "sorry I know this has been difficult for you, I just really miss you here," he told her with a sad smile.

She felt a laugh escape her lips. "I'm just joking, and I'm doing fine by the way so don't worry your pretty little face about it."

Mason laughed and told her, "It is a pretty face right, also wear the red one it shows you cleavage in a hot but not so slutty way."

"Will do, also interesting that you have stared at my chest long enough to make that analysis", she stuck her tongue out at him.

"Obviously I have been staring you, you've got a hot bod. Anyways gotta go, not all of us can get into a rich, preppy school. Love you boo"

She let out a chuckle at his teasing, "OK love you too, bye!."

Brooke clicked the hang up button on the facetime application. She closed her computer and stuck into her backpack, in between her notebook and folders. She switched her yellow shirt with the red one that Mason recommended. She stared into the mirror in front of her her closet door. "Hmm, he was right about the boobs."

She reaches into her back pocket of her jeans and pulled out the crumpled up flashcard she had stuffed in their earlier that day. "My name is Brooke Campbell, and I'm from Arkansas, Wisconsin. I enjoy painting and crying myself into a hole whenever I have to recite this stupid speech"

She ripped up the index cards and threw them in the trash. She couldn't help but feel like this year was going to be different. All she has to is fly under the radar, make some friends, and get good enough grades to move onto college. So why does it feel like that will be harder than it seems.

Brooke ran down stairs and grabbed the bagel that was sitting on the table. And read the note her guardian left on the table.

Dear Brooke,

Sorry that I had to run out on you this morning,

I had a meeting at the company today and slept in too late.

I hope you enjoy your first day of school, you will be great.

Don't forget to make friends and stay under the radar.

If you feel stressed today feel free to text me. Stick to the

script and you'll be fine!

Yours, Lucent

Leave it to Lucent to stress her out me out by trying to reassure her. she stuffed the bagel into her mouth and walked out the door. She lives two minutes away from the school, so Brooke just walked there today. As she approached the gate surrounding the school, she felt butterflies arise in her stomach for the first time in a while. She has heard rumors about this school being full of elitist snobs, and can't help but worry they won't approve of her, especially when she tells her... story. She breaths in and out and feels her stress level increasing. She decides to grab her backpack and open the smallest compartment. She pulled out the little bottle of pills that help her relax. After downing three pills she feels her heartbeat slowing to a normal rate.

Brooke straightens her shirt and looks ahead. She then opened the door and walked into the elusive, Stonewall Academy
