The American Pit Bull Terrier is not your average fight dog. It is actually a good house dog, guard dog, and also a family dog. For instance I have three Pit Bulls I would name them but that would take up too much time so I will not name them. When I get home from school I always see the oldest one her name is Sassy in the house window. Well i guess i may have named one of them. They are originally bred to "bait" bulls. Then the breed evolved into all around-farm dogs. Then later moved into the house as "nanny dogs" because they are so gentle around children.
The American Pit Bull Terrier is one of the so-called Bully breeds often called the Pit Bull. but "Pit Bull" is not an actual breed it is a term used to describe the American Pit Bull Terrier, the Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. But some people think that the American Pit Bull Terrier is the same as the American Staffordshire Terrier but others say that they are totally different.
Pit Bull Fighting
Some people raise Pit Bulls to fight them with other dogs. Sometimes they don't ever win and when they fight some even die from the wounds and some die from the other dogs. I would like to put a stop to Dog Fighting. Would you like to put a stop to dog fighting? Some people say that Pit Bulls are mean but they actually aren't they only are if you raise them wrong they are not "mean" if you raise them right.
My Plan to Stop Dog Fighting
When I get older I want to start a couple of dog rescue centers no other breeds but that one in each center. And also when I get older I want to send all of the guys that are making dogs fight and maybe get the president to keep them in prison because underground dog fighting is illegal in some states i wish that it was illegal in all states because dogs can get injured or even can die from dog fighting. I will put before and after pictures of some of the damage that happens when dogs are forced to fight.
