Strange Senses

Chapter 1 - Strange Beginnings

"Hello?" A strange voice said, as if it was in distress.

"Yeah?" Noah said faintly.

"Please, help me! He's here..." It said, in a distorted voice, getting worse with every word.

"Who is he?" Noah said a little louder, growing a little scared.

" He is.. h-" Before you could hear the rest, it's voice got cut off as Noah woke up in his cozy bed. 

You gasp loudly as you hear your loud alarm beeping furiously, you don't know how, but it feels as if it was beeping louder than before. "So it was all a dream?" Noah said, confused. Quickly he jumps out of bed and runs to his mom's room. His mom was there reading a book. Mom! I just had the weirdest dream ever! I don't remember all of it, but I remember hearing a voice saying something like, "He is coming". "I'm not sure who he is exactly, but it was pretty spooky!" "Really Noah? That's cool! His mom said in disinterest, "Do you want some bacon and eggs? I made them for your brother, but he left for work early, so you can have them, just make sure to heat them in the microwave first." "Sure mom, but that dream was really weird!" He said as his voice was getting faded as he walked towards the kitchen. 

He sat down and started staring at his food before hearing a loud crash behind him. He turned around as fast as he can to see what had happened, a perfectly clean plate was on the floor, scattered to pieces, before he could take in what had just happened, his mom asked him why she heard a crash in the kitchen, overreacting, Noah said "Nothing!" His mom went to the kitchen, only to figure out that her son was cleaning up broken plate and putting it in the garbage. "Ha! Busted!" His mom said in slight excitement. "Got you cornered! What really happened?" Noah sighed, and said "I was staring at my food, and then crash! The plate was on the floor! I swear I didn't touch it!" His mom knew he wasn't the clumsy type nor the type to lie, so she said "Fine, I'll let it slide, but if anything like this happens again, I know my main suspect" she was making body language for "I got my eyes on you" while she was walking back to her room. (You know the one.) 

Noah had lost his appetite, he decided he wanted to play with his best friends, James and Reid. He called them, and they all decided they'll meet up at a local convenient store 2 blocks away from his house. They met up and Noah decided to tell them about his dream, "Hey guys, I had this weird dream last night, this weird voice say help me and stuff, it was creepy" James and Reid both said "Same!" at the same time. Noah was surprised, he thought two people having the same dream on the same night was practically impossible, yet it happened right before his eyes. No one even bothered to say Jinx as they were all in shock. There was a brief moment of silence, before James broke the silence saying, "That was weird, none of you are pranking me?" Both Noah and James yelled "I though it was you two pranking me!" This time Reid said Jinx, as he was the type to unnecessarily say random things at random moments, "Shut up!" James and Noah said at the same time again, resisting the urge to say Jinx, they just knew it wasn't the time to say it. Noah said "So.. what next?"
