:1st POV:
I looked at myself in the mirror, looking myself straight in the eyes. I stared at eyes who have seen more then the normal eye. I looked at the pale-skinned, flat-chested girl that was in-front of me, the two braids of platinum blond hair reaching up to my stomach, eyes the color of grass.I was wearing a white tank-top with a pair of shorts that reached just below my thighs, with a belt that held an assortment of weapons. I looked at myself with a smile, gaining confidence for the events just waiting to happen.
I looked around the small room I was in, and sat down on the bed. I looked at the desk with sharp eyes, spotting my throwing knives. I got up and grabbed them, I put them around my belt, feeling prepared.
I looked back at the desk, and cleared the weapons, revealing a list of names and information.
My target tonight was Lillian, the former circus performer. She was planning to eliminate Nicole, the Arsonist. Nicole's room was in the basement, she had made arrangements so if anyone went down there, they would be burnt to a crisp, and the house wouldn't be burnt to the ground. Lillian's main weapon is a machete, her primary weapon is a dagger. Since she was a circus performer, she is very flexible, and can dodge melee attacks easily, and that's why I chose throwing knives, because if I sneak up behind her, she would't know what hit her.
I took a deep breathe, and after planning, the time had come to murder Lillian.
I opened my door, and tip-toed across the the stair railing, making sure the floorboards didn't creak. I went down the stairs, and carefully walked towards the basement door.
Lillian was already in there, because the door was wide open. I crept down the stairs, only to see nothing but a bed with bloody sheet's and blankets.
"Oh well... A valuable asset lost..."
I sighed as I went to the stair way, but stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a figure covered in blood, with stunning red hair, and a lantern in her hand.
I froze with fear as I realized who this was, and took a step back. Nicole reached behind her, and picked up a container full of an oily substance, and I realized that it was gasoline.
"Why ya' here Paige...?"
I stood frozen, I was beginning to shake, and I knew why, I damn knew why.
"Nicole please, Lillian was going to attack you, i saw her sneak out and-"
"I took care of her"
I looked behind Nicole and saw a charred body. Oh god, that must be Lillian, I... I'm shaking so much...
"So, how do you want to die?"
My eyes widened, and I reached for one of my throwing knives, only for Nicole to rush towards me, grab my hand and pry the knife out of my hand.
She kicked me down, and put a foot down on my stomach, pushing down.
"So Paige... Do you have anything worth living for?"
I could feel the pressure on my stomach increase, and I started to panic.
"Nicole please, I'm a valuable asset, I could help you!!"
I could feel my face heat up, and felt tears run down my cheeks. I didn't want to die, not today.
Nicole took her foot off of my stomach, and kicked me in the side, making me curl up in pain.
It was agonizing, and at that moment, something snapped, I don't know what it was, but the next thing I know, I'm grabbing Nicole's leg, and pulling it down.
I seized the opportunity of shock to get up, and I raised my fist's in a defensive posture, and started to back up. Nicole got up, and ran towards me, taking me by surprise. She swung a punch, and I just barely dodged. She swung another and it grazed my temple. She kicked at my knee, and I backed away just in time. If I even have a fraction of a chance, I have to be faster then her, even for a second, then I could swing at her neck, or I could try to knock her out...
While I was thinking, Nicole took this opportunity to body check me, and I tripped over Lillian's body, cursing myself, I attempted to get up, but Nicole predicted this, and jumped on me, pushing her knee's into my stomach. I grunted, and tried to push her off of me, but my attempt was futile, and Nicole slapped my hands away. She got up and walked to the other side of the room, grabbing the container of gasoline and pack of matches. I tried desperately to get up, and I pushed myself up, grabbing for one of my knives. Nicole turned around and started to walk towards me. She took the lid off of the container, and threw the liquid towards me. She lit the match and I saw her face, her eyes were gleaming, and she was smirking. She walked closer to me, and threw the match down. I cried out as the gasoline caught on fire, and flames engulfed me. I started to scream, and I could feel my whole body burning.
"Shhh, it's ok now, you're ok now..."
My eyes were popping out of my head, I could feel my skin melting off of my bones, my hair was already gone, I would soon be a pile of ash.
"Paige!"
I saw my brother, Nathan. He was smiling, and his eyes were wide and innocent.
I could hear my own screams, and I was watching myself from somewhere different, it was like a dream.
"Paige!"
My brother was beside me, holding my hand.
He burst into flames, and I could feel my hand burn.
"Paige!"
I saw my family, eyes wide in fear. They burst into flames.
I felt my body burning from the inside out, and I screamed, calling to anyone.
I want it to stop, I want it to stop, I want it to stop, stop stop stop.
the last thing I saw was Nicole.
Nicole was the exact opposite of me. Tan, strong, and she was absolutely insane.
I could see it in her eyes, I could see the insanity, I could see the madness.
And hate was the last thing I ever felt in my life.
A hatred fueled by insanity.
A hatred fueled by Nicole.
