In this life I live I want to find my meaning
Looking through all the things I'm seeing
Wanting to know the reason of my existence
Searching for it with my persistence
I may not know myself that well
But this story of mine I can tell
One day I will see
What I've been looking for--the key
Having some people who are there for you
That's when you know when people are true
These people I will never forget
And trusting them I will never regret
Striving to get better as I live
Moving forward with everything I can give
Thankful for every day God gives me
Praying for everything I can be
Going through hardships that leave me broken
Though that won't let my faith be taken
The hardships that teach us a lesson
Making us into a better person
An everyday process full of ups and downs
One day finding myself after all the smiles and frowns
But some things are better left unsaid
In this bittersweet life I have
