Mud... All up my legs and on the hem of my nightgown which was once a creamy white colour now stained with blood and mud.. 'whos after me' i thought 'why am i running' so many questions bubbled in your head that you couldnt answer.. "SPLISH SPLOSH SLPASH" the noises of running threw a muddy swap made its way to my ears..
"You can run but can't hide Y/N" a loud english acscent yells, my bare feet in the gross swamp, running faster than I ever have before, honestly I don't know what or who I'm running from, I just know that I need to run away. my blood stained nightgown swaying slightly as I ran.
breathing heavily I tripped over a large rock, slicing my skin open, pain rushed through my leg, I bit my lip almost drawing blood and pushed myself up, the foot steps getting louder and louder. my legs in pain, as well as my whole body. "you know I'm going to catch you Y/N" the voice yelled.
I once again tripped over, tumbling and hitting my face hard on the ground, blood dripped from my forehead. I picked up a long tree branch with a pointed end, I held it tightly in both hands and stood up, the splashing of the mud and the footsteps got closer, my fear rising as my legs were about to give way. my heart almost beating out of my chest. I'm pretty sure that the person chasing, who was only metres away could hear it as well.
my grip on the stick tightened, if that was even possible. I swung the stick around, trying to hurt whoever was in front of me, I heard a chuckle and raised the stick before landing a hit on his arm, lightly cutting him.
I dropped the stick and continued running away, "someone please help me!!"I yelled out but all I could hear were the fast footsteps and the ground beneath me splashing around, the birds tweeted but not happily.
in the distance I could see a clearing, phantomhive mannor... I've heard about the fire that took place here...it killed all but one family member. I'm surprised its still standing. my head in an unbelievable mount of pain, the last thing I saw was the door creaking open and the footsteps getting closer then everything went black...
