One of the last afternoons of summer vacation. I woke up at about noon, the usual time, and got of bed to shower. Once I got out of the steaming hot water I wrapped a towel around myself and made my way back to my room. Before I could go into my closet I heard my phone beep. I had gotten a text about my yoga class.
Hey, the class is a half hour earlier today. Thought you should know.
I put my phone down and rushed to my closet. I decided on a pair of black yoga pants and a spandex purple tank top. I slipped on my grey vans and grabbed my bag and my stuff. I brushed out my hair quickly and was then out the loft door after yelling a quick good bye to my brother. I decided that taking the stairs would be faster then waiting for the elevator. Once I got down them and out of the building, I got in my black 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500 and turned my Ipod on. The song Still Breathing by Mayday Parade came on. I loved that song so much. I pulled out of the driveway and made my way to yoga. I take an advanced yoga class every other day.
It was about a fifteen minute drive to the building. Once there I shut off the car, got out, and double locked the doors. I can be a very paranoid person. Especially when it comes to my car. I walked inside the building and said hi to my friend Cindy. One thing I loved best about this class was that no one from my school does it but me. It's a nice break from every one and everything.
"Hey Cindy, What's up?" I asked her. She started giggling like a little school girl. I eyed her suspiciously.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked her.
"He is what's wrong with me," she said emphasizing the word 'he' and pointing to some one in the opposite direction. I turned my head to see who she was giggling at. I stopped breathing when I saw him. He is gorgeous. He had blonde hair that was partially hanging in his eyes. His eyes were the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen. I swear if you looked into them long enough you could drown and I think I already have. He had an amazing body. I could tell because his shirt was hugging his body in all the right places.
"Oh my gosh," I said out loud.
"I know right!" Cindy exclaimed. I looked at her then back at him. He was looking right at me. He noticed me looking at smiled a pearly white smile to die for. I smiled back. He started walking towards me. I didn't know what do I was so frazzled at the moment. I turned to Cindy.
"He has the face of an angel and the body of a god," I exclaimed. She nodded vigorously. When he was only a few feet away, I started to unpack my mat and act like I was doing something.
"Hi," he said as he was close enough. He smiled.
"Hi," I said and smiled back. I kept it cool, but on the inside I was screaming and jumping for joy.
"I'm Shawn, Shawn Hanner. I just moved here and thought I should introduce myself," he said sticking out his hand.
"I'm Blair Morse. I've lived here for about 6 years, and I don't shake hands, I'm more of a hugger," I told him, holding my arms out. He smiled and hugged me.
