A little baby cried as a woman ran from a large house that was engulfed in flames. She moved quickly, soon looking back. Then, she ran into the forest.

She had soon made her way to a large oak tree with roots that stuck out of the ground. It's branches hung low and stretched far, making their way to the ground like snakes on a vine.

The woman ducked under the trees and soon found a place in the roots that was a suitable size for the child. She then set her down on the soft mossy ground between the tree roots.

She gazed lovingly at her daughter before the crackling sound of running footsteps and yelling from the distance disturbed the moment.

The mother slipped off a necklace and a bracelet, tucking it into the baby's deep, dark green blanket that was wrapped around her like a burrito.

"I love you, my sweet Sorela." She whispered, placing a last kiss on her daughter's forehead before standing up and ducking between the branches.

The woman ran away from the tree and cried out, faking that she had tripped then continued running. The yelling grew closer to the tree and vanished as they followed the woman.

The baby blinked, sucking on her pacifier, clutching the bracelet and necklace tightly as her eyes soon closed.
