Deny.
All that remains is denial.
Deny.
These roses are for a reunion.
Deny.
A box full of something sweet.
Deny.
A family gathering.
Deny.
That isn't you.
Deny.
A Porcelain Doll
Deny.
Can I see you again tomorrow?

I hold your old shirt.
Has it all ready been a day?
This isn't real. This doesn't hurt.
The scent hasn't gone away.

Anger.
Why did you leave?
Anger.
Why didn't you say goodbye?
Anger.
This isn't fair!
Anger.
I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME
Anger.
IF YOU LOVE ME WHERE ARE YOU
Anger.
Is it anger or tears that blind me?

I throw your things at the wall.
Satisfaction as they crack
And crumble.
So fragile.
So fragile they break as I have
So easily they fall apart.

A bargain.
Please, God.
A plea.
Not them.
A beg.
I'll do anything.
A cry.
Take me.

I scream at the walls.
I scream at the mirrors.
I scream at the tombstones.
I scream at the flowers.
I scream at the world.
I scream
I scream
Scream until my lungs bleed.

Why?
I can no longer feel things.
Detached,
I am empty.
Alone
I am fading.
Invisible
I can't feel the arms that hold me,
The hand that comforts
It passes through me.
I am as detached from this world as you are to it.

You are gone.
I've been without you
For so long.
I've been wronged.
The beautiful thing
about moving on

Is remembering every beautiful detail
About you.
Your voice
As it created melodies as I awoke.
Your eyes
as they shined like morning dew when you laughed.
Your heart
So big it was never too full for more love;

And breaking ever so many times
remembering
How much I love you

And realizing
I never moved on

I invested in a greater acting career
And pretended
It no longer hurt
To remember you.
