it's 2 am and i can't sleep.

i already know the drill. i turn on the tv and go straight to crunchyroll. ive been obsessed with a new anime called kiss him not me. everyone judges the fact that i love romance & gay sports anime but honestly they are the reason i breathe. also, i relate to kae. 2-d guys are way~ better.

i notice that episode 6 has been released and i set my ass down to savor every moment knowing it would be a week before i get a new episode. i did read the manga but we all know that animes give us the ✨feels✨.

halfway through when the shipping war begins, i notice that im rather hungry. its saturday and i know that my favorite pizza delivery place is 24 hours. i dial the number by heart.

"hello? hi, can i get a large cheese pizza for delivery please?"

"oh hey dan. you got it, same address?"

i rolled my eyes in shame of the fact they remembered my address and name by how much i order.

"erm, yeah. thank you"

i hope they send the cute delivery guy...the one with the black hair and pretty eyes. but then again, i kinda don't want him to see how much of a loser i am.

watching anime and ordering pizza at 2 am.

i finish up the episode happy with the ending but sad that i have to wait another week for the 7th episode. i open mystic messenger, and start getting lit to the music .

and by "lit", i mean awkwardly moving my body. the door rings and i abruptly stop "dancing".

"one second!"

i grab my money and slide on my socks to the door. i check, and sure enough its my favorite delivery boy.

i open the door and the boy looks at me and turns red.

what?

he hands me the receipt quietly, trying to hide his red face.

it made me upset. i wanted to look at his perfect face.

i signed and he looks up with a small shy smile on his face.

"is that the mystic messenger theme song?"

my heart the flippy thing at hearing his adorable voice. but then i process his words. idiot! i forgot to turn my phone off and now that stupid song is really noticeable.

i nod my head with an apologetic smile, turning red myself.

"i love that game. it's like you're able to talk to your favorite anime characters"

i was shocked. did he...like anime as well?

"well yeah that's basically what it is, but you watch anime?" i asked hopefully.

"well i'm a huge weeb honestly, but none of my friends seem to like anime" he says with a small sad smile.

"same! oh my god we're meant to be obviously. do you wanna hang out? what am i saying you're working obviously you can't hang out im so-"

"well it's not safe to come hang out with a stranger, even a cute one, but this is my last stop..." he says hesitantly.

i dragged him in without thinking.

"okay so i've been really wanting to watch yuri on ice(!) but i have literally no one to watch it with, so you are now chosen" i demanded, forcing him to sit.

"uh...great! ive been wanting to watch it too!" he says nervously.

i wanted to CRY. this boy was meant for me, he's so pure.

i got us blankets and drinks and started playing the gay ass show. a few episodes in, phil started to nod off. i didn't really notice until his head softly leaned onto my shoulder.

i froze.

phil was touching me.

his hair tickled my neck and i could hear his heart beating and he was so so so warm and i had obviously turned into a tomato at this point.

i paused yuri on ice(!) and slowly moved. i covered him in his blanket and sat on the floor looking at his beauty. i didn't want to stay in that position, with the chance of him being straight and he waking up uncomfortable.

but he did say he loved mystic messenger...

whatever. he's so cute.

new phan au! ayeeee. anyways helloo im jackie and im gay af and phan is everything good in the world. i suck at updating but i genuinely love this au idea, so let's pray for constant updates. shoutout to @fools- , bc i really loved anime boy and it was the only phanfic i read that was based on dans love for anime. this fic is inspired by yours but i have a lot of ideas. irl im a huge otaku and all the animes/mangas/games i enjoy will obviously be mentioned. this is getting really long but anyways, i hope you enjoy!
