"Who are you?" Arlene asked.
"My name's Amy. Amy Burley. I'm with Jason." Amy said gesturing to Jason.
"With me." Jason said putting his arm around her shoulders.
"And you must be Arlene with the beautiful red hair. It's so nice to meet you." Amy stated shaking Arlene's hand.
"How'd you know all the table numbers?" Asked Arlene.
"Well, I waited tables in college so I just assumed clockwise. You know, table 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And I think the guys at table 5 like you because they left you a really nice tip." She said taking the tip out of her pocket and handing it to Alene.
Arlene then turned to Sam and said, "Sam, I think we might have found a replacement for Dawn."
"Looks like you did too." I said as I turned to keep working. When I got home that night I crashed and slept until I had to go to work the next day. I was cleaning glasses a the bar when I overheard Terry and Arlene talking about how her babysitter fell through again. Then I got up to go help bus tables.
"I've been admiring your necklace all day." Sookie said to Amy.
"So have I it's really pretty." I complimented.
"Oh, thanks, it's a lariat. I made it." She said.
"You make jewelry?" I asked.
"It's a easy way to earn extra money. I can make you guys some, if you want."
"Thanks, but I don't think my boyfriend much likes silver." Sookie said.
"I don't think that mine would much like it either." I said when Amy looked at me.
"You know our brother's a dog, don't you?" Sookie asked.
"I'm sorry?" Amy asked Sookie.
Sookie looked at her and said, "He's all charm and smiles in the beginning, but the second he gets tired of you... he's gonna stop calling. Before you know it, he's off with some other floozy.(insert mental face palm from me that is.) Not-- Not that you are one. But trust me, it's as regular as the seasons. You seem like a sweet girl. I don't want you to get hurt."
Amy responded with, "You know, I don't think Jason's realized even half of what he's going to be. I wouldn't be so quick to judge. I think you might be surprised at what he's capable of." She then walked off with her tray. I zoned out of Arlene and Sookie's conversation until I heard, "I love you both like you're my own sisters." And was pulled into a group hug with Arlene and Sookie.
"We love you too Arlene. And sure, we'll babysit your kids tonight." I said.
"I don't-- I mean--" She stammered.
"We heard you talking to Terry. We're a better choice." Said Sookie.
"We'll drop them off at 8. Rene's taking me to Ruston to see that Oak Ridge Boys tribute band." Arlene chirped with excitement.
"Oh, how fun." I said. At about 7 I knew Bill was here because I heard banging upstairs. 'Oh my god this feels so amazing.' After I heard that I slammed my shield up. Then I heard the door open and close I swung my head around to see nothing there. I reached for my knife and flipped it open then someone blew in my ear making me swing around with my knife up. The person caught my hand and grabbed the knife.
"You wouldn't want to hurt your mate now would you?" He said kissing my neck. ' You know you're an asshole right?' I thought. 'Yes princess I know. Liv I'm thirsty.' When he thought that I tilted my head back to lay on his shoulder his fangs came out with a click, and were buried into my neck causing me to moan.
