Chapter Four

Kinabukasan napagdesisyunan ko na wag na munang umuwi total linggo rin naman. I want to spend more time with my family saka nandito rin naman si kuya. Minsan lang umuwi ang kumag na yon.

"Ma, si kuya oh!" pagsusumbong ko. Pano ba naman kasi inagaw yung pinaluto kong barbeque.

"Tan, ibigay mo na yan sa kapatid mo" sabi ni mama habang inaasikaso ang inihaw.

"Yoko nga ma. Hoy A, kuya ako, kaya ako ang mauuna"

"Aba! ---"

"Oh ano ano? Magsusumbong ka kay Dustine?" nagulat ako sa sinabi niyang iyon.

"What now, A?" panghahamon pa niya.

"Err.." pinaikutan ko nalang siya ng mata saka padabog na pumunta sa kwarto ko.

Pati ba naman sa mga simpleng bagay nato isasama't isasali pa si Caleb? Jeezz!

"Aghh!" inis kong bulyaw habang nakaharap sa salamin. I'm really pissed! Sa sinabi kong iyon kagabe parang pinaasa ko narin ang sarili ko na magkakaroon talaga ng "kami" ni Caleb. No string attached, Krea!

I just washed my face because of frustration. Nang mahismasmasan agad kong inayos ang sarili ko at bumalik kina mama.

"Where's Kuya Tris?" I asked mom.

"His friend fetched him" sagot niya. Nagkibit balikat nalang ako.

"Di kapa ba inaantok, nak?"

"Medyo po. Pero mamaya na. Ako na muna dyan, ma. Pahinga kana don. Tatawagin ko nalang si manang Rose pag nakaramdam nako ng pagod" pagpipresenta ko. Agad naman siyang sumang-ayon.

"Osige. Salamat, nak" tanging nasabi niya saka tumungo sa loob ng bahay.

Jusmee! Buti nalang pala at naisipan kong palitan si mama rito. Kung hindi baka inatake na naman ng highblood yon. I really need to refresh! Kanina pa tumutulo at tumatagatak ang pawis ko rito.

Iniwan ko muna to sandali para tawagin si manang Rose saka dumiretso sa kwarto at naligo.

Habang nakababad sa bath tub nahagip ng kamay ko ang tattoo sa batok ko. It's totally healed. I can't sense any pain anymore. Hindi ko pa nakikita to. Tanging si Caleb lang ang may alam at unang nakakita rito. Well siguro pag pinusod ko ito maraming atensyon agad ang makukuha neto. Being a president of school council with this tattoo? May mga tao talaga na ang daling humusga.

"Nak, kakain na" rinig kong tawag ni mama mula sa labas ng pinto.

"I'll be quick, ma. Wait!" I answered then wraps my body with my towel and fixed myself.

I seated next to mom. She quickly load veges on my plate!

"Eat this. You're getting thin" she said.

"Ma, I'm not thin. I'm just sexy. I'm healthy. I did proper exercise everyday. So no need to worry. I'm taking care of myself properly" I assured her.

"I told you, hon" tugon ni dad kay mama.

"Oo na" pagsuko niya.

"Anyways hija. We're going for a friends party. Wanna come?"

"Wag nalang siguro, dad. I should take some rest. Wala akong pahinga netong mga nakaraang linggo. You knew, their so called duties" I uttered while rolling my eyes. They just laughed.

"Ganyan talaga yan, hija. We're so proud of you. You know, leading Easton High is not that easy"

Ngumiti nalang ako bilang tugon. They're are proud of me. Part of me felt guilt. What if they knew about me and Caleb? What are they going to feel?

"Hon, we have to go"

"Darling you sure you won't come with us?" Mom asked again. Hoping for my mind to change.

"Yes ma" I responded. "Keepsafe" they kissed me on cheeks and went inside the car. I waved at them and headed to my room and took a sleep.

Nagising ako dahil sa tunog ng cellphone ko. Kinuha ko agad yon.

"Shit" I exclaimed when I saw Caleb's name on my screen. I'm about to answered it but it turn into a missed called. When I checked my call history. Helly, it's 17 missed calls and 7 messages!

When I got bored staying in the house I decided to get back to my condo. I called mom para magpaalam.

Though Damon Salvatore is friggin' hot, I still wanna hate him. Nalate ako ng gising dahil tinapos namin ni Stin ang isang season buong magdamag. "Lesheng mga bampirang yan."

It's almost 1pm. Kaya nagpasya akong wag nalang pumasok.

"Shit," I heard Stin cussed. She's still on my bed living like a princess while me, is the cook. That's the disadvantages of being the homeowner. You have to treat your guests right. And that was really svcks.

"Uhh cous, thanks for the food. I do really appreciated it. But I have to go. Dane's is at the lobby. So bye" taranta niyang saad sabay halik sa pisngi ko saka tuluyang lumabas ng apartment.

"Edi sila na may lovelife"

Napanguso ako. Ang bitter ko namang masyado.

One thing popped on my mind. Dane is waiting for her. Helly, I really wanted to see that Dane man. I immediately run through the window to check if they're still there. I think I'm such a perfect timer.

I saw him. The way he looked at Stin with sincerity, nakakainggit. But I'm happy for my cousin, atleast she has a perfect lovelife unlike me even lustlife is too complicated.

Ibang-iba siya sa kuya niya. Di ko alam kung ano ang pinagkaiba nila. I can sense that he's a Cassa too. Which is nature na talaga ng mga montefalco.

"He changed for me" naalala ko ang sinabi ni Stin about kay Dane.

Does he have a chance also? He is so hopeless.

Napatos yata paa ko kakalibot sa mall. Pagkatapos kong kumain kanina napagpasyahan kong magmall nalang instead of veiling myself inside the condo.From 2 to 7? Mapapatos talaga 'to. Hahaha!

I hastily took my sandals off and took my way through my condo with my barefoot.

Bubuksan ko na sana ang pinto ng may biglang tumikhim sa gilid ko.

"Ay palaka!" usal ko.

Hinanap ko agad kung saan nanggaling ang lesheng tikhim na yon.

There I saw an image in the opposing corner. Since it was too dark I had no choice but to come closer to check if who's jerk who dared to spook me! I even used my phone para makita ko ang itsura neto.

Nakangiti ito sakin. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi ito suklian ng ngiti. That genuine smile. Binitawan ko agad ang sandals at ang mga dala ko saka tumakbo at yumakap sa kanya.
