Ugh can't anyone tell I'm getting ready? I swear if I do wrong on this eyeliner someone is going to die tonight. I sigh and eventually answer "whoever this is this better be important " I answer in a snappy tone. I hear wee giggling and that made me roll my eyes "hi Leah "

"Hey Zoe! You actual buzzed for tonight then ?"
Ugh I hated it when she used that word, 'buzzed' it's not like we are bees or something.
"Oh yeah, totally, I can't wait to get absolutely blazed and look like a mess by the end of the night " I say sarcastically.

I was never the big fan of parties as you can or can not tell already , I was more the shy but obnoxious girl that only sits in her room doing maths and higher chemistry all day long, then there's Leah. Leah is my one and possibly only best friend I'll ever have (I know depressing right ?) but she has a complete different personality to me like she's your classic preppy, stylish , girly teenager.

She is however really lovely to me (and slightly annoying at times ) she always had my back and I will always have hers it's how we role, she's like the perfect cheese to my perfect macaroni... oh god did I really just think that ? Oh my god pretend i never said anything that's just so cringey ew.

"Zoe ? Zoe ? Oh god are you going to answer me"
And I just zoned out on Leah.... again
"Oh shit hey "
"Zoning out again ?"
"Could say that "
"Okay that's it I'm coming over I have a few outfits for you to try on "
I sigh quietly enough for her not to hear, "yeah go ahead " I hang up

I stand up Straight and look in my full standing mirror, if I had to describe myself I'd say im about 5"4 maybe 5"5 but I'm short okay? I'll admit I'm short. I did have long auburn hair that reaches down to my pelvis. Curly at the bottoms but always straight at the top and the middle. I have hazel eyes that do sparkle when the light hits them. I was in Holliday recently so I do have a tan round the collar , my face , arms and legs. I'm quite slim but I , again do admit , I do have thick thighs. It didn't really bother me but sometimes when I look at Leah and she's like really skinny I do get jealous and makes me feel shit about myself. I run my hand through my hair and sigh at myself in the mirror and think why the hell am I agreeing to do this but before I could question myself even more the door bell rings

I slip on my black nirvana t shirt and my grey casual pj shorts and head down my stairs rapidly and open up the door but it wasn't Leah , it was my step-brother josh. I roll my eyes "you do live here , you don't have to knock you do know that right ?" He just smiles at me just that casual smile he always does "it's nice to be polite though isn't it " he pats my face and walks right past me and grabs a apple off the kitchen counter and takes a huge bite out of it and smirks "plus it's nice to annoy you " he says trying to tease me "get lost josh." Man I hated when he did this to me, he always bullied me because he's now the oldest so he thinks he could pick on me whenever he wanted. Plus he's like 6"2 which makes it even worse on my behalf. He looks down at me and takes another bite really loudly so I can hear the scrunch crunch i just roll my eyes at him, he finishes the apple and folds his arms looking at me "so when's your hot friend coming over ?"
"Which one ?"
"Well what other friend comes over of yours ?"
I sigh and nod my head agreeing with him
"Leah should be here soon "
He nods and smirks "great."

I scoff and I turn away from him, as soon as I do the door goes again. I head to the door but before I could get to it, josh had already bolted to it and opened it before I could even get close enough. "Hello Leah , looking gorgeous as ever" says my brother in the most nicest tone,
Leah gives a cute smile at him and kisses his cheek "why thank you Josh always so nice to me "

she smiles and walks to me with three handbags in her hands "HEY BESTIE !!" She hugs me so tight I can barely breathe, I pat her back quickly and she lets go of me and smiles like a little girl. "Hey Leah " I say eventually gaining my breath back, she grabs my hand "let's turn you from a mouse to a sexy feline cat " she smirks
