As a daughter of Sirius Black, I never knew my mom. She left us when I was born. Now I was finally going to Hogwarts with the infamous Harry Potter. He was kinda like my brother in a way because of my dad being his godfather and all. I've never been to Hogwarts with the other students there. I took summer courses with the teachers as no one was allowed to know about me. Because of this, I learned many things more than normal students.

My dad taught me how to become an animagus. I was a wolf. Black fur like my dad's in his dog form. Although my fur was sleek, not fluffy. I had a silver paw front left and dad said I had a crescent moon near my right eye. I'm also a metaporphagus. It's pretty cool. Teddy, my cousin or so it felt like, had had it to. He died during a raid in the war on his grandma Andromeda's house. I excelled in potions, transfiguration, and herbology. Some of the other classes didn't go so well for me at first. To tell you the truth I know all the curriculum already.

The Hogwarts express horn sounded telling me I had to go. I glanced over to the corner of the station and saw dad wink at me before I took off for the door of the train. Bolting from my spot on the platform my feet pounding as I pushed through the crowd. Desperately, I knocked someone over. Apologizing over my shoulder I stepped up onto the train steps. As I did the train began moving dragging my trunk along behind me.

Slowly but surely I scurried about the carriages and peeking into compartments. None seemed interesting enough for me. Having heard stories of the marauders I was hoping that something interesting would have happened today. I'm absolutely sure that I have enough spare time to find the map. I need that map.

After what felt like hours wandering around, I saw a compartment with a blond boy seated inside alone. He stared out the window as if lost in deep troublesome thought.

"Hey, I'm Phoenix Black. What's your name? I swear I've seen you around before. Have you come to head quarters before?" I shoot questions off at the boy who's staring at me in shock. Did I do something wrong? I hope not.

"Draco, Draco Malfoy. I don't know what headquarters you are speaking of Black, if that's even your name, " Draco snapped back. So he's not a social person. Good to know.

" No, I swear I've seen you there. Never when the others are though. I dislike visitors, they make me have to stay in my room. I clearly remember you coming to Order of the Phoenix headquarters. You know that's named after me right? Dad pulled some strings with Dumbledore, " I babble on. Probably annoying this poor boy half to death.

"Y-you don't care I'm a d-d-death e-eater?" Draco stutters out, tears in his eyes. I laughed, probably too loudly.

"Of course not! You went undercover for us! Why should I be?" I replied with a smile. He looked up at me from behind his bangs. A sudden bang caught me off guard. The compartment door was slammed open by none other than boy of wonder himself. As a brother figure, I can hate him right? He's full of himself.

"Why are you in here with him? He's a no good death eater!" Harry yelled, directed not at me but at Draco. Okay I'm done.

"Harry James Potter! Do you want me to send an owl to my father? I'm sure he will be unpleased that you are being rude to me and my friend here. Don't play games with me. My father will hear about this!" I yell in his face. He wants to fight, I'll give him a fight. At least I was going to when Draco spoke up.

"It's okay, Phoenix. I don't expect anyone to understand what I've done. Let's let them go," Draco says calmly a small bit of laughter in his voice. I get even more mad. How can he be totally okay with this? How can anyone be okay with this rude boy? I'll let it go for now.

"Alright leave please, the trolley is coming by soon and I don't want you to be in the way," I say completely bored.

"Well that's just it. We were in the prefects carriage and now we have no place to sit. We were wondering if we could sit here?" Hermione says in a sweet tone of voice.

"I guess you can if it's okay with Draco," I say giving him a glance. He nods at me. I move to sit by my newfound friend. The trio sit across from us occasionally sending me a smile and Draco a glare. Hermione smiled at us both which was refreshing compared to the two boys.

"So Phoenix is your first name right? What's your last name? Why haven't you come in previous years?" Hermione fires questions off left and right.

"Well, I've had a summer program for only me as I wasn't allowed near other students. I stayed with my dad while you were all at school and Hogwarts in the summer when you came home." I say, totally blowing off the first question.

"Well, I guess we should change into our Hogwarts robes," Hermione said giving me a look as if I will get an answer from you later.

I changed my hair from black to a blue light to dark type hairstyle with strips of lime green mixed in. I also became shorter than my average height of 5'1. My robes were black with my Hogwarts crest ever changing. Pulling up to the castle, I called a summer camp. This year was gonna be great.
