This story is completely fictional and from my own imagination.

I know that I have a lot going on in my story. I am also attempting to write my story through various point of views (not sure if that's a good idea). Too help with the confusion I decided to write a little bit about the races and a bit of history. I always loved the books who built up a wonderful world and had a deep history to them.

Brief description of the various Alien Races and their history

Alyf-
The Alyf people are a tall fair haired race, with pointed ears. Their skin color ranges from light to dark. Most of the Alyf wear their hair long and in braids depending on their social status. Having short hair is a sign of an outcast. They are a beautiful reserved race. Their nomadic culture centers on the family patriarch and the respect of the elders. Emotions are not shone much in public, but they do laugh and have fun with close friends and family. Honor is given to those who can control an element. Only the elite can control all four elements. Their martial arts is based on using the elements in conjunction with their physical fighting. Despite their martial skill, they tend to be non-confrontational. They follow tribal chieftains, who in turn answer to the Great Chieftain. They travel from place to place trading or harvesting the natural resources they choose to live by. Along their trade route they built brilliant cities that blend into the surrounding nature. They love nature and it reflects in their beautiful music, graceful dance, art, and architecture.

The alliance with the Kav'ii resulted in the a great golden age of prosperity and exploration lasting almost a thousand years. The greatest invention during the golden age is the portal. The portal allows travel to occur from one planet to the next in an instant by bending space. The portals can connect to only three or four planets resulting in a complex web from planet to planet. The great golden age ended when the V'ren appeared and began conquering the planets belonging to the Alyf and Kav'ii Alliance. This resulted in a war lasting two hundred years and threatening the Alyf and Kav'ii into nonexistence.

Kav'ii-
The Kav'ii people are not quite as tall as the Alyf people, but generally have more muscle mass than them. Their coloring is very diverse with skin tone ranging from the palest white to the darkest brown. Their hair color is just as diverse ranging from various shades of blue and green to purple and red. Their irises match their hair coloring with vertical pupils. They possess elongated incisors "fangs" and eat mostly a diet of meat, fruits and vegetables. Most of them can manipulate dimensions by storing objects in another dimension and pulling it out at will. They can also fold space and move themselves from one location to another. They have developed this ability into their martial art and the masters can even speed up their movements using dimensional shifting. They have very keen scientific minds and designed many of the weapons used against the V'ren. They are also responsible for creating the Shadow Guardian force.

V'ren
The V'ren people are blue skinned with blue tinted black hair. They have a cast based society with the worker cast being the smallest and weakest, military cast being the largest and strongest, and the leader cast being the smartest and most beautiful. They keep their women on their home world or established secure colonies. They use machines along with their military in the war with a few leaders present to direct the war effort. They are brutally efficient in the art of war and are extremely xenophobic, all attempts the Alyf and Kav'ii had made to communicate with them resulted in death.

Shadow Guardians
As the Alyf and Kav'ii were slowly loosing to the seemingly inexhaustible enemy, the Kav'ii created elite soldiers to hopefully turn the tide of war. They genetically modified half breed embryos to ensure they would have the full strength of both race's abilities and high intelligence. This worked extremely well the first hundred years, then as the war progressed they again lost ground as they couldn't produce and train the half breeds fast enough to keep up with the war effort. As modified half breeds, they are extremely alluring. They have the Alyf ears and hair with the Kav'ii's natural bold colored highlights, Kav'ii eyes and fangs, increased intelligence, enhanced immune system, and most importantly the ability to control all four elements and dimensional shifting. Their training begins as soon as they learn to walk and are considered fully trained when they master both kinds of martial arts, infiltration, assassination, and leadership skills. Due to their increased intelligence they are usually fully trained by their adolescence thus becoming a shadow guardian. War is all they know. Their armor is created from a smoky carbon silk harvested from the giant spiders located on the planet Tayib. The armor is incredibly flexible and strong, the Kav'ii engineered it to self repair if it is ever damaged. The Kav'ii also invented the long blades the guardians use. These unique light weight blades are made out of carbon fiber and Kav'ii steel. These blades can change form into preprogrammed shapes, the staff, the short sword, the curved blade, and the longer single edged blade. They change shape on the owners voice command. The guardian's cloak also has the shape changing ability to fit the needs of the wearer along with shadow mode blending into the surroundings.

Shin
The Shin are a small dainty race of people with earth colored tones for their hair, eye, and skin. They are very smart and are very creative in improving agriculture, engineering, and what ever else sparks their interests. They are a part of the Kimarian Empire.

Callen
The Callen people are a tall muscular race with large leathery wings and sharp fangs. A select few have telepathic abilities. These few are required to wear dampeners while in public to ensure other people's privacy. These dampeners are small metallic bands placed on their heads, the blinking at their temples indicates they are turned on. The Callen are a fierce people that are loyal to family and friends. They have a monarch society and are the newest race to join the Kimarian Empire.

Abi
The Abi are tall graceful giants with an average height of ten feet tall. They have dark skin and dye their hair in wild colors. They tend to be artistic and musical in nature. Some of the more beautiful cities were designed and built by them. Their native language is sung.

Basir
The Basir people are a long lived reptilian race that can shift form from large flying dragons to tall humanoid forms. They come in all ranges of colors and patterns. They love to mine and live in mountains. Their mountain cities are quite beautiful and are a marvel in engineering feat. They also tend to be historians and scholars.

Minh
The Minh people are known for their physical beauty and aloof nature. They are highly analytical and surround themselves with information. They have enhanced their bodies with computer nodes so they can attach mechanical armor or powerful computers to aid in what they do. They tend to be on military, police, or scientific positions.
