Falling in Love the Second Time

Chapter 1

"How can you do this to me Gavin? We have three kids! We've been married for 13 years! And now you're blaming it on me?? You cheated on me with the family nanny, the person who takes care of our children for god sakes Gavin... And even if you did, you didn't even bother to pick up after your own mess! Leaving your sickening messages in the family ipad! What if the children saw them? What if my parents saw them?"

By then, Gwen was kneeling on the floor with tears clinging onto her cheeks, as though she was begging for Gavin to give her back her life, her family. She has just found out that Gavin had been cheating on her with the family nanny, even before she became pregnant with Apollo and she literally wondered why she was so stupid and trusted this man. She loved him so much that now she came to have so much hate in her. Gwen felt so embarrassed, she was mortified. Everyone had thought that she and Gavin was a match made in heaven, that they were a perfect couple and were meant to be together. Her family had been everything to her the past few years and the sudden realisation shattered her into pieces.

"You were never good enough Gwen. I'm sorry but it's the truth. I thought you were close enough but apparently you weren't and you'll never be. I'm really grateful towards you for bringing 3 of my children into this world but let's face it, do you really think you are that wonderful yourself? Let's just forget about this and move on okay? Just don't interfere in my life and I will give you the liberty to do whatever you want as ..."

Before Gavin could finish his sentence, Gwen stood up and slapped Gavin right across his left cheek.

"I want a divorce Gavin. After suffering 13 years of you constantly putting me down, I've had enough. I'm tired. If loving you is that hard then I'm done. Speak to my lawyer... I'm taking my kids with me and by the way, don't think you can have a say in this. I have proof of your infidelity."

With that, Gwen held her two sons as well as carried a sleeping Apollo, and drove off to her parent's place, where she knew she would finally be protected and be safe again. She just dreaded the explaining she had to do later that evening.
