the little mermaid, fractured

Under the deep blue water, a long time ago, live a girl with golden locks and a silver patterned tail. Her name was Ariel. Ariel was one of seven daughters of the mighty Mer-king, Triton. One of Ariel's sister, Alana, loved the human world as she would visit it daily. Alana was a curious girl who had black hair and purple tail. Ariel was always jealous of her sister because she always got the attention when it comes to favorite daughter. Ariel had blonde hair and a silver tail. She always wanted to be the best daughter so she would be chosen to be the ruler when her father died.

Ariel and her sister's lived in a glorious palace that was a sweet icy blue with colorful coral everywhere. Alana would every day, swim through the ocean to find the rare sea flower. When she had found one she would flip her tail as fast as she could and swim back to her room where she placed all her collected flowers. Alana was a beautiful girl who had black hair that was always in a bun, purple tail and a pretty head piece that was shaped as a crown.

One day a storm brewed above the sea. The king declared that no one shall see above the ocean's surface for it was too dangerous for their kind. Alana was out exploring when the king declared this. Alana then noticed the water shaking for one second. Alana was terrified so she tried to find the way back to the castle. When she found it she swam back into her room and placed her newly found flower. Alana swam to her window as she saw something new. A shadow. It was dark and kinda brown.

Alana was a curious girl and she wanted to know what it was. Ariel was going to see if Alana was alright because she had seen her swim back to the kingdom in fear. She knocked on the door and called Alana's name. Alana answer the door and asked what Ariel wanted. Ariel asked to come in and talk in private. Alana did so. Ariel told Alana that triton had said to the entire kingdom that he was going to choose the best of his daughters to be queen.

Alana was excited about the news and set to work right away. She flipped to her cupboard and pulled out a gown. She placed on her bed and set to having a bath. Then something shocked the water and Ariel and Alana grabbed each other in fright. Ariel then pushed Alana off her and swam out while reminding her about the very best gets chosen. Alana made sure that there was no one was outside her room. No one was there. She swam out of her room while closing her door. There was a loud creak as it closed.

As she was just a corner from her room she ran into her father. He pardoned her and continued to swim to his destination. Alana continued on her journey to the surface. She got out of the castle, checked for pedestrians and swam to the surface. When she reached the exterior she saw a strange object, a ship. The sailors were singing merry songs but were wary about the storm that they layed under. Then a bolt of electricity struck the ship. The singing stopped and yelling began. Alana moved onto the ship and watched the men work. She was terrified but satisfied as the men tried staying alive.

Lightning struck the ship again but closer to Alana. Alana was about to jump back in the water when she noticed a hole in the ship. Then the ship started sinking faster as the sailors jumped into the life boats. One man was left on the ship saving his crew. Alana noticed him wearing a crown, his was a prince. Alana had found her man. He got his men in the boats but there were no more. He had to jump into another boat with some of his crew.

Then all of a sudden the mast fell onto his leg. He was trapped as the boat sank into the cold water. Alana had jumped into the water and swam to the post as she had snuck behind a life boat. The prince's eyes were closing as the wood carried him down below. Then he saw a blur and he started opening his eye's again. He saw her face as she started lifting up the mast and pulling him out.

When he was out she swam faster than ever to get him to the surface. The crew started worrying about the prince as one placed his head in the water. All he saw was blue until he saw Alana and the prince. He pulled his head out of the water as Alana jumped out of the water with a splash. They really didn't care about the prince at the moment as for they had seen a girl with a tail that came out of nowhere.
