A Sycamore for Suicide

Hello,

Before you read this story, please read this note. It is very important and relevant to the story.

This is a story about suicide. I completely made it up. It is fictional and completely a product of my imagination. It is NOT based on any real events, at least of which I know of. Please keep this close in mind.

I am not and never have been a suicidal person. I also have never known anyone who has committed suicide. If you find any part of this story too insensitive please, please do not hesitate to let me know. I DO NOT want to hurt anyone with this story, I just wrote it and wanted to share and maybe, just maybe, make someone a little more aware of how much they can affect another person.

Although this story is a work of fiction, I still feel as though it can have a great amont of impact. If this story offends you or is too insensitive then please, please, let me know and also suggest what you personally think I should change to make it better. I cannot promise that I will change it according to your direction but I can promise that I will at least take it into consideration. Please note that I DO NOT mean to offend or hurt anyone. I cannot stress this enough. Please read this and then return to your daily life. I would really like it if everyone made a point in their lives to every once and awhile stop and think about the people around themselves, regardless of age or gender and take into consideration their well being. You never know what a person could be going through or, how they may react. Suicide is not a light subject and please always remember that you are not the only person that matters and that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Thanks, and lots of love,

PPS: the genders I used in this story are irrelevant. I just used them because it made it easier to track the two separate POVs. If you are offended by this then please note that I wasn't trying to exclude anyone by using male and female as the two roles. Also note that I am not trying to create any gender stereotypes by not naming the characters. I only did as much so that the story could apply to anyone.
