Clarke's pov.

"Clarke? Wake up, we are almost at Arkadia." I heard Octavia say, as I came out of a dream. "How long have I been asleep?" I ask, not able to remember much of what has happened, in what feels like a few days. "You took the flame and had a blood transfusion with Antari. Then after you came out of the city of light you passed out." Octavia explained. I didn't notice until now, but my head was killing me, it pounded like a drum. "Hey are you okay Clarke?" Octavia asks with the sound of worry in her voice. "I'm fine..." I start, "it's just my head, it hurts like a crazy." I finished.

Octavia had me on her horse with her and we where on the road back to polis. We where sharing her horse because when I passed out everyone agreed it would be the fastest and safest way to get me back to Arkadia. And it was a good choice, if we where to be attacked by anyone or anything Octavia would be the best person to help me.

"Hey, Clarke?" She asks with a strange tone in her voice, it was compassionate yet serious. "Yea, what is it Octavia? Is something wrong?" I ask curious to hear what she wants to say. "How have you dealt with what happened to Lexa? Ever since Pike killed Lincoln, I have had an empty void, where happiness and love should be." She said, now with woe in her voice. "Octavia, I don't know if I ever got over Lexa's death, but I do know that when it happened, I had to much to worry about right after, from all the 13 clans to the city of light. I had to think about anything else to be able to to help our people. What I had to do was think about the people I care about such as you and Raven. I surrounded my self with my loved ones." I explained to her. "Clarke?" She continued, "Thanks, and I'm glad to know that you care about me, I really, really care about you."

For the remainder of the ride home we rode in silence. I started to feel that Octavia was more than she seems, and that she has this softer side to he that she shields from others. I was curious, I wanted to know more. It was as if she lit a spark in me, one that I hadn't felt in what feels like a long while.
